About the artist:

Annie Riga (b. 1997, Athens) is a Greek artist working between Athens and London. Across expanded painting and sculpture, often combined, she explores the instability of form and the relationships between bodies, materials and their environments. Informed by Aegean landscapes, marine life and feminist approaches to the body, her work foregrounds tensions between fragility and support, holding and overflow, considering how forms take shape through contact and dependency.
