POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Tomorrow, Tuesday October 6th, we start our first chapter of in-store sessions at @archivio_records
6-10pm

In chapter one, we present The Hefker Girl (@navigatingthefartworld) and Jack Pompe (@pompe.wav)- Two DJs who have found an indelible link in their artistic processes and sonic palettes. In taking a birds eye view of their personal roots through early experiences at music festivals - they survey the word ‘dance’- in other words, they share a hybrid world created by distilling sounds from the Midwest and the UK. Come hear inspired sounds of illinois farmlands and the Cul de Sacs of Camden Town.

This Saturday for Late Night, Rose’s invites dancefloor specialist @pompe.wav from Brooklyn.

Growing up in the Midwest with a pair of drumsticks in his hands since he could walk, Jack’s sound is filled with infectious groove. A devoted student of soundsystems and the spaces they create, Jack has DJed iconic rooms across NYC such as Public Records and Nightmoves. His collection is greatly influenced by time working behind the counter at Superior Elevation Records in Brooklyn. With a knack for the eclectic and abstract, expect deep sounds woven together with precision, spanning every corner of dance music and beyond.
