Continuing our journey to commemorate our 12 years in Crockett. Here we are in year 10 and 11, late 2024 and 2025 where loads of very exciting things happened here on our farm.

The giant Pittosporum undulatum was removed late 2024. We can thank the landlord and the insurance company for this heinous move. I am 90% positive the raccoons retaliated after this removal, declaring an all out war on our crops. We planted lines of Sweet Peas here, it was divine and all sorts of pollinators were happy with this.

Little corners filling in nicely here.

Very mature Agave and Ceonothus looking absolutely incredible. The Oak provides much needed shade in the summer.

Working with @saltedrye on the vision of her cookbook, Cake Picnic with @kendall.andronico on the most beautiful spring day we could have asked for.

This is what I had always imagined for this garden. Lush, full, verdant. A wagon full of cut flowers. My dream realized here in the photo.

Another dream was having a workshop here with my favorite people @pompelmoooo and @flowers_by_karis / having these wonderful friends in my garden creating so much beauty and inviting a small group to enjoy it with us was really lovely. I hope everyone loved it as much as we did.

We can always try to photograph the beauty but sometimes you had to be in it to really see it. But we try!

Iris season was the most magical in 2025

An abundant harvest and my most prized Agave attenuata Boutin Blue (I think it’s Boutin, anyone want to weigh in on this?)

A moment of silence for a 30 foot row of Delphinium semibarbatum budding.

Layers of foliage and flowers in late spring with Sweet Peas, Violas, Nasturtiums and Lilys. This is just 5 months after the tree was removed from this side yard!

Red was the color I chose to focus on in 2025 and no regrets here. I planted alternating red and yellow lines of Salpiglossis, Phlox and Delphinium semibarbatum and I think it was my favorite color play ever.

The perfect summer evening and a very patient pup waiting for his walk

Fall sowings in the greenhouse getting ready for our 2026 season. My favorite little place to be.

End of the season crops.

I designed this bouquet the morning of the wedding… not my typical flow, but the color of a specific flower I had ordered for this didn’t come in, and so we were faced with a last minute decision of a new color composition or shifting the design of the bouquet. I was so worried my beautiful Bride’s bouquet wouldn’t be her dream come true, I lay awake a lot of the night thinking about it and imagining different designs I could do to make it come alive for her.
I choked back some tears of relief when she loved it and said it was everything she had wanted. 🤍🫶🏼
