ended 2025 with one of my biggest accomplishments so far. bringing a platform like @keephush_ to the philippines for the first time to highlight the energy of budots.

pioneered by @djlove_sherwintuna in the southern areas of the country, it became a soundtrack over daily noise, social tensions, contradictions and pressure, while echoing the resilience of indigenous communities across mindanao.

i grew up on the far edge of southern italy, stuck in a middle zone. too broke for the cool kids, too different for the block. long before dj booths, flights and festivals, music was my way to speak and be seen inside the chaos of my neighbourhood.

maybe that’s why i blended so naturally with this controversial but joyful sound. there’s a tension between apparent simplicity and real power that feels familiar, something i first recognised in the more anarchic strands of dubstep.

there’s a lot i could say about why i stopped my independent run in italy, but these scenes probably say it better. this is what makes me feel alive. bringing local energy into a bigger context despite obstructions and post colonial passport drama.

i don’t think my curation will save the world but maybe right now i just want to party with meaning.
