🏕️ SOLO CAMPING IN ALGONQUIN 🍂 if you're looking for inspo to get out solo or explore Ontario, be sure to hit that follow button ✅

🥾 I accidentally started a fall tradition a few years ago that I now look forward to every autumn. Even though I only got home from Scotland four nights prior, there was no way I was missing out on fall camping in Algonquin!

🌈 This was my first year doing the sunrise hike without a friend so it felt different, but I ended up having the summit to myself for well over an hour so I drank coffee, read my book, and soaked in the views. I was even treated to a rainbow

🔥 Honestly, the weekend was mostly very low-key - I read, relaxed by the fire, did a couple hikes, and caught up on sleep. This weekend was different than the last few years but it was exactly what my body and soul craved.

🍁 Algonquin in the autumn never disappoints, and even though the fall colours are on the way out it's not too late to squeeze in some last-minute leaf peeping in Ontario's most iconic provincial park (just be sure to have a DVP or camping permit).
