New York Watch Week, from Gotham Hall to the after party. WatchTime New York filled Gotham Hall for three days, and the city’s watch crowd filled the nights around it. A few of the faces and pieces that stayed with me. Ryan Reynolds and Maximilian Büsser explored why we collect, with Aldis Hodge guiding the conversation at Gotham Hall. Ulysse Nardin ran through the whole weekend: Wei Koh and François-Xavier Hotier at the booth, a minute with CEO Patrick Pruniaux, and a Friday night party where the Freak’s 25th birthday arrived as a cake and an illustrator captured my likeness. URWERK brought the UR-300 Time Quantum, whose hour display jumps forward and reconfigures at each change of the hour. Martin Frei walked me through it in person. Kari Voutilainen and I picked up where we left off at Watches and Wonders in April. Fred Savage told me he enjoyed my conversation with Geoff Hess on The Luxury Prescription Show. That one made my afternoon. Sunday closed at the Watches of Switzerland cocktail party with James Lamdin, who founded Analog:Shift in 2012 and now leads vintage and pre-owned for the group. Thank you to Ulysse Nardin, WatchTime and Watches of Switzerland for a weekend well spent. Which watch or moment caught your eye? Tell me in the comments. Follow The Luxury Prescription for watchmaker visits, collector conversations, and the stories behind exceptional watches. @ulyssenardin @urwerkgeneve @watchtimemagazine @watchesofswitzerland_usa @analogshift @voutilainenwatches @mbandf @revolutionwatch @maxbusser @aldis_hodge @wei_koh_revolution @fxhotier @patrickpruniaux @fredsavage @mfmontrose @karivoutilainen @bradleytheodore @jameslamdin #WatchTimeNewYork #UlysseNardin #URWERK #NewYorkWatchWeek #TheLuxuryPrescription

RAIN DIDN’T STOP THE MISSION. ❤️🏁 TaxKing’s 5th Annual Fundraiser was an incredible success. We set out with a goal of raising $25,000 for The Unterberg Children’s Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center — and together, we surpassed it with $27,000 raised! Despite the rain, our community showed up. Exotic cars still lined the entrance, the U.S. Marines came out in full force, our sponsors stepped up, local businesses donated, and our guests packed Baseline Social to support an incredible cause. A huge thank you to Baseline Social for donating the venue and breakfast, Rev & Roast for donating coffee and specialty drinks, our 16 raffle donors, every sponsor, and everyone from Monmouth Medical Center who joined us. Most importantly, thank YOU to everyone who donated, attended and supported us. Five years in, we continue to prove that this community is about so much more than cars. $27,000 RAISED. ❤️ And we’re just getting started. Driven by Passion. Fueled by Generosity. #CarsAndSocial #TaxKing #DrivenByGenerosity #CarCommunity #NewJersey

The forecast said rain. We showed up for the kids. ❤️🏁 Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, Maserati, McLaren: the cars were extraordinary. The reason we gathered mattered more. The Luxury Prescription Show @theluxuryprescriptionshow was a proud PLATINUM SPONSOR of TaxKing’s 5th Annual Fundraiser with @cars_and_social at @baselinesocialnj in Fort Monmouth, near @Netflix’s future studio campus, supporting food security through Unterberg Children’s Hospital at @monmouthmedical. As a physician and dad, this mission means so much. No child should have to wonder where their next meal is coming from. Thank you to founders Joe @taxkingnj & Emilio @emilioduran._, general manager Joe Rogers, and pediatrics chair Dr. Jonathan Teitelbaum for the conversations and commitment to this cause. Loved talking McLaren 750S with Elvis @supercar_mustache from @mclarennorthjersey. Great catching up with Tom Lobrow of Custom Pool Pros and meeting the @revandroast_coffee owners, Lauren and Logan, two generous Silver Sponsors. Erik & Charles of Black Swallowtail Media, @blackswallowtailstudios: thank you for capturing the day, rain and all. Interviews and more are coming. Stay tuned! 🎥 Grateful to every sponsor, donor, service member and guest who showed up with heart. More sponsor love: Elizabeth Truck Center @elizabethtruckcenter ; @raymondofnewjersey; @sonscollisioncenter; Cuzin’s Seafood Clam Bar @cuzinsclambar ; Boscia & Boscia PC; @smartmarketingg; One Stop Group; Hen Vietnamese Kitchen & Bar; Circle Construction Group; DME Tuning; @gardenstateshrinkwrapping; Auto Vault NJ; Sergi’s Images; @fiorinilandscape; First Class Customs; The Christmas Decorators; Floors & Beyond; Class Kills; Neves Jewelers; IBO Construction Group; Lend with Anthony; @neverridestock_ ; @griptechfloorcoatings; Pardini Construction; Mangia Pizzeria–Shrewsbury; Shore Car Club @shorecarclub ; Temp Control; InvestiTrade; Lux Restyling. Today’s prescription: horsepower with heart. ❤️ #TheLuxuryPrescriptionShow #CarsAndSocial #charitywork #ExoticCars #JerseyShore
