This escalated way beyond a “small birthday setup” 😂~ Michael’s gaming 6th birthday party 🕹️👾🎮

@poparound.ct converted our lounge into the ultimate gaming arcade for our 6-year-old boykie and his crew 🎮

Think draped walls, 3 gaming console stations, a claw machine, joystick setup and air hockey. Throw in some food, because what’s an arcade without? Enter slush, popcorn and party boxes from @glitterati.partybox that we filled with snacks. Console boxes were loaded with hotdogs & chips for the kids, and a separate food station for the adults (because priorities).

10/10 would do it again, but also, never again. I think it took 3 business days to get my lounge back to normal.

An evening to remember 😎 ESSA launched the first-ever kosher Cape Potstill brandy in August. Fans and followers enjoyed a fantastic evening filled with smiles and food by @chefomris @foodby.chefomri The @triplethreedistillery team was there as well! We couldn’t be more happy with the event, which was put together by @poparound.ct and hosted by @queens_cpt Grateful for the content creator stars that showed up, especially @ruthi.v of @tipsytasting_

My love, my life, and the beautiful reality I get to experience every single day — Xoxopottery🎈
This isn’t just a business. It’s not just an income stream or a job…It’s part of who I am and hugely embedded in my heart and soul.

My business is my love child🫶🏽

I’ve lived a rather colourful career life over the past 25 years
From drama student…
To owning a restaurant at 21…
To event and venue planning…
To real estate.
But I can’t even remember my life before pottery.
Before happiness all day, every day.
Before XoXo.

Today, my business turns 8 years old, and I couldn’t feel prouder or more fulfilled.
What a beautiful, ever-evolving love story.
My greatest love affair.
A love that touches every fibre of my being.

Part of me is confused by how quickly the years have passed
and part of me is overwhelmed by how full they’ve been.
Eight years sounds like a long time…
Yet somehow, it feels like I blinked and they passed right under my nose.

These have been the happiest eight years of my life.

This love story? It’s real.
And it continues to grow stronger every day.

But here’s the truth:
It hasn’t always been easy.
There have been moments of panic, despair, loss, pain —and very loud declarations of:
“WHAT THE ACTUAL F$&K?!”
But the love…
The joy…
The fulfillment…
The happiness…
It’s insurmountable and untouchable.

I would choose this. Every single time.
In every version of my existence.

Because the love I feel for my craft feeds my soul.
It doesn’t feel like work.
It doesn’t feel like a job.
It feels like purpose.
Like my soul has to explore this path.

So,
Happy Birthday, my beautiful Xoxopottery.
Happy Birthday, my baby.
And happy birthday to every single piece I’ve ever created.

Χρόνια Πολλά (many years).
May this coming year be even bigger, better, and more exciting than the last. 🧿🌸🙌🏽

Thank you to each and every one of you who follow my journey, buy my pieces, gift my work, and engage with my content.
Support is support, and I appreciate all of it — deeply.

Till next year… 💫
Keep shining, baby.
With all my heart,
Xoxo
