Good to catch up with @timprovise tonight. Such a good and real show, who knew Manurewa had a comedy club @poppys.comedy. Pretty cool random venue and the vibes were on too. Looking forward to the next one

I BELIEVE IN YOU & ME

There are moments in a campaign when I find myself sitting quietly and thinking about why I am doing this.

I’m the oldest of four children. I’ve raised four children on my own, and now I’m a Nana. With every chapter of my life, my sense of responsibility has grown.

I was raised in Whangārei. Northland is home. It’s not simply the electorate I’m standing in. These are the communities and people whose struggles & triumphs I recognise in my own life.

This week I found myself wondering where my resilience comes from and how did I find myself here, its a worthy wonder.

Every person has a remarkable story, your story is your truth my story is relatable.

♥️I'm here because I care so much that something has to change.

♥️I'm tired of hearing the same leadsrship voices and failed results.

♥️I'm here because families & people deserve better

♥️I'm here because I actually believe in a Northland Together, our home our future

♥️ MY WHY IS YOUR WHY ♥️

Better starts now ‼️ OR Northland's future is going to get dangerously harder.

RIP Whitney 🕊

The bro bought the whole whanau out to @poppys.comedy to cop my Thursday @nzcomedyfestival show. We had a meke night. Rewa hard. Tāmaki Makaurau.

One of the most unique comedy experiences the @nzcomedyfestival has to offer. You walk down a neighbouring drive way where you will spot the festival flag that leads you to a South Auckland shed where some of the best comedians in NZ have performed.

One does not simply stumble across Poppy’s. If you end up here it’s destiny. In all the city venues as an audience member your just a number. But at Poppy’s your whanau. And that experience is priceless.
