POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Stories of home now echo across the world.

Through reflections from writers, curators, publications, and cultural voices, Geographies of Distance: Remembering Home continues to resonate far beyond the pavilion, carried through conversations on memory, belonging, material, ecology, and the evolving language of contemporary Indian art.

Curated by Dr. Amin Jaffer, Geographies of Distance: Remembering Home brings together the works of Alwar Balasubramaniam, Asim Waqif, Ranjani Shettar, Skarma Sonam Tashi, and Sumakshi Singh.

Commissioned by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, in partnership with the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre and the Serendipity Arts Foundation, the National Pavilion of India is now open at the Arsenale di Venezia for the 61st International Art Exhibition — La Biennale di Venezia.

Grateful doesn’t even cover it.

Big love to everyone who’s helped spread the word about “Give You All”, including those we weren’t able to tag/fit in the video.

We appreciate you 💙

Check out part of the canvas piece, “LET’S RIDE”! 🏍️🎨 We created 10 unique hand-painted artworks, upcycled from used spray cans, featuring awesome biker designs to elevate the canvas work! 🔥

These one-of-a-kind pieces highlight the importance of sustainability and the spirit of collaboration. 💚♻️ Proud to team up with @amosananda for the @wearnes.harleydavidson Grand Opening Event! 🎉

“I hope that one day when I am 80 and still alive, I can have a body of works that can show the evolution of my journey as a designer, starting from when I was a rookie to a veteran, from ‘not good; to good. It is not always just about showing only the best. It is about showing your growth, your evolution, to your eventual arrival, and departure – and other people should pick the works to remember me by. Because I am always critical of my own work.”
