5 years of Modelesque Minks 🎀

Who would’ve thought something that started in the dining room fresh out of high school would’ve grown so beautifully! Thank you to everyone who has been a support to me & my business. Being in the industry and owning my own business has taught me so many valuable lessons and forced me to grow in so many ways. The journey has not been easy but 100% worth it! 3 years of Modelesque Headquarters is huge because I took a leap of faith when taking over my first salon I was scared to take on such a huge responsibility, a with the vision of it being a space for my clients to come feeling welcomed and leaving feeling beautiful. I am forever grateful for all my beautiful clients who have kept me booked and busy “God is within her, she will not fail” Psalm 46:5 my cup will forever runner! 5 years down & still just getting started 🩶

Give away coming for my girls! 🧚🏾‍♀️🧚🏾‍♀️

What an amazing way to wrap the All Being Exhibition. ✨

Thank you to each and every artist who contributed to the show, as well as the artists who joined us for the ALL in ALL discussion. All Being would not be what it is without your perspectives, artistry, and willingness to share your work and stories with us.

A special thank you to @ursa.gallery for hosting the exhibition and for all of your support and assistance in bringing the show to life.

Thank you to @bptartscouncil for your collaboration and continued support throughout the exhibition. We’re grateful for the ways you helped us create space for this work and these conversations.

And lastly, thank you to everyone who took the time to visit, engage with the work, attend an event, or simply show love and support. Your presence meant so much to us.

Until the next one. 🖤

The evening’s conversation will be moderated by Deja Mack, Secretary of the Bridgeport Arts & Cultural Council, as we reflect on the stories, inspiration, and impact behind the art work and exhibition.

We’ll also have a few special surprises in store that you won’t want to miss. We can’t wait to celebrate this incredible exhibition with you one last time.
