This morning I'm heading to Port Stephens Coaches to conduct some de-escalation training with the bus drivers.
These guys often experience verbal abuse and aggressive behaviour from some of their passengers, so this training is going to give them some extra skills and the confidence to help deal with these types of situations.

Those who know me can attest to my obsession with articulated buses, synonymously known as bendy buses.

To find out that this year at @sydneybusmuseum's busfest there would be six was such a treat!

The buses are all pictured exiting Busfest at White Bay.

The units shown are as follows;
1; former STA 2556, a Mercedes-Benz O305G with PMC Galvastress bodywork
In Cream, brown, and orange scheme used by Sydney Buses/Urban Transit Authority in the 1980s. This livery was their first livery. Registered as 47703H, this bus formerly operated out of Port Botany and Brookvale depots.

2; former STA 2554, another Mercedes-Benz O305G with PMC Galvastress bodywork. This bus is in the corporate V3 livery. Registered as 91933J, this bus formerly operated at Port Botany depot.

3; former STA 2575, another Mercedes-Benz O305G with PMC Galvastress bodywork. This bus is in the Corporate V1 livery. Registered as 91934J, this unit formerly operated at Brookvale and Port Botany depots.

4; Volvo B12BLEA Custom Coaches CB60 bendy m/o 8975 (1701). This bus currently operates in region 6 at TSA's Tempe depot.

5; Scania L94UA Volgren CR228L bendy 1380MO. Formerly a gas bendy bus, this unit operates under Port Stephens Coaches.

6; Scania K360CA Volgren Optimus bendy m/o 1147 (1560). This is one of 50 new bendy buses delivered to Busways Ryde and Transdev Waverley depots to boost capacity on route 52 and 333 respectively.

We are incredibly proud to shine a light on one of our valued Wuu-rri vending hosts — @portstephenscoaches.

As a regional transport operator, Port Stephens Coaches understand that real community impact comes from everyday business decisions. By hosting a Wuu-rri vending machine at their depot, they are turning routine purchases into direct support for Indigenous economic enterprise.

In their own words:
💬 "Port Stephens Coaches is proud to host Wuu-rri Vending machines and support an Aboriginal economic enterprise that delivers benefits far beyond convenience. It's a practical example of how business can create lasting social and economic outcomes for communities."

This is exactly the kind of partnership that makes Wuu-rri work — businesses that are not just talking about reconciliation, but living it through their daily operations.

Is your organisation ready to host a Wuu-rri machine? It costs nothing and gives back everything.

OUR A & F PART ONE. An autumn day that felt equal parts joyful, intimate and beautifully alive.

We are endlessly grateful for our beautiful couples and the trust they place in us to bring their celebration to life.

From a slow morning in the @redleafwollombi Villa, to vows exchanged beneath the trees, every part of the day carried such an effortless warmth. And Anna in @j.andreatta_ … perfection.

State Forest cleared for mining…. This area is about to be stripped of natural bush land, for gravel mining & if you’ve ever seen the surface mining process in play, you’ll know how it deviates

@pscouncil has made an absolute mess of this!
