Ver a mis amigos llegando a Niza para el Mundial de Ironman 70.3 este fin de semana, me devolvió por un instante al 2019 en esa tan dura competencia cuando yo también estuve ahí. ❤️ Qué carrera tan increíble. Nadé como siempre, lentita pero feliz. Decidí hacer los 90 km en bicicleta de ruta porque le tenía PÁNICO a las bajadas de Niza. Subir el Col de Vence era una cosa… pero bajarlo era otra. Creo que bajé casi tan lento como subí. 😂 Pero después llegó la media maratón. Me bajé de la bicicleta y corrí esa media en 1h31. Hasta hoy recuerdo esa sensación. Ese día mi cuerpo respondió de una manera que jamás voy a olvidar. Hoy veo esas fotos con otros ojos. Después vino el cáncer. Y una vida completamente diferente. No sé si algún día volveré a hacer un IRONMAN 70.3. Me encantaría. Pero hoy mi carrera es otra. Estoy aprendiendo a querer y respetar este nuevo cuerpo, el mismo que un día me llevó a Niza. Por eso, para mis panas @javifiallo @carlitagordon @palomacv y todos mis amigos que están llegando a Francia 🇫🇷: DISFRÚTENLA. Miren el mar, sufran esa subida, disfruten esa bajada (más que yo 😂), corran con el corazón y guarden cada segundo. Y cuando estén cansados, corran un poquito por mí… y por todas las que hoy no podemos estar ahí haciendo lo que tanto amamos. Yo los voy a estar viendo con el corazón lleno, los ojos aguados y una sonrisa enorme.
