I did a thing… again. 🎓✨ And I’m genuinely so proud of this one. Especially as i did it with my big sis. I came into CEIBS WELA with an open mind, ready to learn, unlearn, question some of the things I thought I knew about business, and hopefully become a better leader. I’m leaving stretched. There were classes that affirmed me. Classes that exposed gaps. 😂 Conversations that made me rethink how I lead. Frameworks that had me mentally redesigning parts of my businesses before the lecturer had even finished teaching. 😂 Very on brand for me. But beyond everything we learnt about strategy, leadership, finance, people, governance and building sustainable businesses, I think one of my biggest takeaways has been clarity about the kind of creative entrepreneur and leader i am becoming. Not just one bubbling with tonnes of ideas — God knows I have those. 😂 bulding radical execution capacity to actually to get things done. Because ideas can be and are exciting. But Building is different. And I can genuinely say that the woman graduating today thinks differently from the woman who walked into that first class. Then there were the people. ❤️ Brilliant women. Different industries. Different journeys. Different perspectives. So many conversations, laughs, debates, shared experiences and moments of “Ahhhh… I never thought about it that way.” That was a huge part of the education too. I’m leaving with knowledge, but also relationships, perspective, greater self-awareness and an even bigger appetite for what is possible. I’ve always loved learning. But I’m becoming increasingly interested in what happens after the learning. What will I do differently? What will I build differently? How will I lead differently? What will I finally execute? That, for me, is where the real graduation begins. So here’s to another chapter completed. 🥂 @ceibs_africa CEIBS WELA Class of 2026 — done. 🎓 Grateful to God for the capacity to keep becoming. A week ago, I invested in the Lens & Legacy class organized by @promzimedia At first, I wasn’t really interested. I even considered spending the money on something else, but I remembered that there is power in learning and continuing to grow. So, I paid and enrolled. @bighstudios , @emmanueloyeleke, @poshclick , @ahamibeleme, (thank you so much mentors👏)and other facilitators exposed us to many things we didn’t know. We also received lots of gifts during the class. One of the assignments was to shoot and create with a model using a white background within one minute. In other words, we had to shoot under pressure. I didn’t know I had the ability to change the mood of a session and make my work stand out until that day. I added a few props to the white background, and gbam—my shots came out differently. I’ll be sharing the videos and two or three images from the assignment here. Lastly, no matter your status, keep learning. Don’t wait for people’s validation before doing things that are beneficial to you. 📸 Also, pray Thank You. #photographers

My experience at the just concluded Inside the Frame Expo @insidetheframeexpo was a mix of pride, awareness, happiness and deep thinking. First is seeing @sholaajisegbede take a daring step to push a deeper convergence of the visual creative ecosystem with conversations and exhibition of diverse products within the value chain, second is seeing creatives build local solutions to global problems and supply chain within the creative industry, thirdly is how much knowledge and real life conversation was shared by the speakers, which was almost like a refresher course for me and finally was the opportunity to network with brilliant young creatives to learn from them and to share with them. Realising the consensus that talent alone is not enough and a need to constantly evolve is the only way to continue to build for the now and guarantee the future. So is Integrity, the desire to always add value, build a healthy collaborative community and to constantly refine systems and structures around the creative talent. Time to learn and build is now...
