I’ve stopped chasing timelines. I’m choosing God’s timing instead. His peace is enough for me.

There’s this young lady I know. She doesn’t remember to take pictures, let alone make video, at functions and events. This is her undoing. Luckily, she managed to get one picture from a memorable night of hers.

This night, in November, marked the birth of something magnificent. She was a co-host for a pageant event. Oh, she loves to host and she is a pageant enthusiast.

@honeyojukwu, on the 1st day of October said to her, “Baby, you’ll soon be the hottest host on the block”, oh, how she loves Honey. But she doesn’t like honey in her tea, give her milk instead. Thank you.
When she told Honey about this hosting of hers, exactly a month after “….the hottest host on the block” conversation, Honey said, “The big Nala set her affirmations in motion, and, gini bu the universe to not listen? My baby, this is just the first of many. You’re a star, and stars don’t have a choice but to shine.”

@mojibadeshow, you are one woman that can smile and lighten every room. I see how you shake hands with powerful and influential people, how you exude so much confidence when you speak, and how you slay in those colourful and powerful outfits. You granted me a Christmas wish, and for that, I’m very thankful ma’am. I’ve completely agreed to be adopted by you o.

My Jamaican mentor, @terrikarelle , how do you manage to know so much, have so much energy, exude so much confidence and walk that Miss World walk every single time? My girl, @positivesamantha and I are your biggest fans . She once told me, “Dinne, you are like a less travelled, less rich version of Terri. She and I knew that was a compliment.

Back to this young lady I know… She is growing, she is evolving. She’s not afraid, because, she has got a solid foundation, she has these women, who believe in her and still will, support her and still will. Do you know you can also believe in and support her? I know you will.

Btw, do you know this young lady? Who is she? If you do, tell her she has better stopped with the thing of not documenting memories o. Or better still, tell her to listen to @omah_lay ‘s “Reason”

Wait o, you read everything? 🫂

I just wanted to say “Throwback Thursday’’ o, but, toh, what do I know?
