Since the weather is making us all want to hide inside and snuggle up warm, why not have a taste of these experimental pieces from our crates. Down tempo, ambient, drone, and dark techno, perfect for setting up your own listening room and gliding through to the weekend. Plug in your headphones and get a load of some transcendental ambient gems.

1. Electro-Soma - B12 (1993)

Ambient Techno / IDM / Detroit-rooted Techno

A time capsule gem from the golden era of the UK’s electronic avant-garde. Mike Golding and Steve Rutter were heavily nodding to the futurism of Detroit pioneers like Derrick May and Juan Atkins, but they spun it through a distinct, melancholic British filter. Visually and sonically, this record is a trip. Musically, it’s all about gleaming FM synth architecture, utopian string pads, and complex, supple Roland 808 rhythms. It effortlessly bridges the gap between deep cosmic head-trips like “Soundtrack Of Space” and club-ready sci-fi steppers like “Obtuse”

2. Dancing Ledge EP - Delph (2026)
Post Panic

Late-90s Ambient House / Early IDM / Balearic / Downtempo

Delph burned briefly but bright in the late-90s underground scene, releasing music on compilation CDs and performing brief live stints across London and Manchester before disbanding in 1999. Decades later, a dedicated internet subculture of young ancient and IDM diggers rediscovered their catalog. This vinyl issue brings their organic, melancholic textures into the physical format for the first time, pairing the music with a beautiful blurred-nature centre label artwork that perfectly anchors the outdoor, geographic concept behind the release.

Dark ambient / Drone / Cinematic Experimental

Not your standard electronic club record. A deep listening piece pressed with excellent dynamic range to capture the subtle low-frequency rumblings and delicate hiss inherent to Fedora’s (Osino) hardware-heavy production style. Great piece of modern Eastern European experimental wax to have in the collection.
