The first time I saw my name on a cinema screen. 🥹 Last year, I stepped into the life of Lilian in Anak Dara Tua. Today at GV Cineleisure, I got to watch her with the beautiful people who made it. Seeing “Lilian - Rebecca Sim” in the credits made everything feel suddenly, overwhelmingly real. And the loveliest part? The character came through exactly as I had hoped she would. Thank you, Joni, Owen, and everyone behind the film for letting me be part of this story. 🤍🎬 Here’s to more stories, bigger screens, and one day seeing my name beside people I’ve always hoped to work with. 🤭 Rep: @campostalent

SCENES —> A simple reel to document the filming exercises that were done during the 3-session workshop in February. The exchanges between actors and filmmakers during these small shoots, are manifested in numerous moments of truth and authenticity that were delightful to watch!

ȾOȾȺŁ-PŁɆȺSɄRɆ-SɄĪȾɆ [mini-suite 0.2 // performance] ᛝᛝᛝ ᴮˡᵃˢᵖʰᵉᵐᵃᵗⁱᶜˢ bears witness to the effect of ȾOȾȺŁ-PŁɆȺSɄRɆ-SɄĪȾɆ , placing matter above spirit, object above subject. Bodies are activated by the non-human agents of the installation, reversing the sacred order that typically positions humans as the animators of dead objects. ᴮˡᵃˢᵖʰᵉᵐᵃᵗⁱᶜˢ operates as a practice of infraction, contamination. Like calisthenics for the unruly, bodies learn new forms of movement through repetitive transgression — training muscles to move in ways that defy how public infrastructure shapes everyday gestures. Each movement becomes a small blasphemy, accumulating into a larger rejection of human-centered choreography. The performance questions what happens when bodies stop trying to animate the world and instead allow themselves to be animated by it. It opens pathways to embodying pleasure as a form of bearing witness to new instincts — ones that incite friction and thrive in the space between alive and dead, human and machine. ᛝᛝᛝ Singapore Biennale 2025 Commission @sgbiennale Curated by @h0t.house ᛝᛝᛝ Cɍēđīⱦs Creative Direction: Elizabeth Gabrielle Lee (@elizabethgl33) Spatial structure design & construction bondage: Federico Ruberto (@opaquejo) Performers: Josh Tirados (@slp.frzng) & Jack (@redbeanjack) Sound design: GODKORINE (@godkorine) Director: Russel Morton (@myillu) Cinematography: Damien Nah (@post_hiding), Teow Yue Han (@trapart), Ulrich Lau (@ulrichlau) Fabrication: REKABUILDERS (@reka_sg) Architectural support: Toh Eu Juin (@eujuintoh) Technical support The Backstage Affair (@thebackstageaffair) and Space Logic (@spacelogic) Sound equipment: Valentine Music Centre (@vmcdjs) Special thanks: Darius Sersksnas (@nocopies), Jonathan Liu (@jonsaysrelax), Daniela Monasterios-Tan (@a_dna_lie), Syafii Ghazali Additional footage: Annabella Ang (@annabellaang), Lee Su Fern (@sufzz), Melany Ang (@melany.ang) . . . #singaporebiennale #tropicgothic #singapore #installation #performance
