When my pops told me to start BJJ, I had no idea how much it would change my life. Coming from a wrestling background, I thought I understood the grind but this journey has challenged me in ways I never expected.

There have been victories that fueled me, defeats that humbled me, and injuries that tested my commitment. Through every high and low, my brother has been right there beside me, sharing the journey every step of the way.

Today, earning my blue belt is more than a promotion it’s a reminder that growth comes from consistency, resilience, and trusting the process. It represents countless hours on the mat, lessons learned through adversity, and the people who helped me become better along the way.

AMG South has become more than a team; it’s become family. I’m proud to stand alongside the same dogs I started this journey with, knowing we’ve pushed each other to improve every day.

This blue belt isn’t the end goal it’s just the beginning. Grateful for my coaches, teammates, my family, and everyone who has been part of this journey. Time to keep learning, keep growing, and keep chasing the next level. 🥋💙
