We are so excited to welcome comedian Blaire Postman to William & Mary for our third event of Disabled Women’s Weekend!

Part Stand Up, part Ted Talk, “LADY ADHD” is a solo show combining Blaire’s signature flip chart stand-up comedy pieces (yes, flip charts) with running commentary about her life with long-undiagnosed ADHD, and lessons learned where the two intersect about how her brain, and the world, both work. Following Blaire’s show, Dr. Patricia Roy, William & Mary’s staff psychiatrist, will moderate a Q&A and discussion on ADHD and disability.

The event will take place on March 23rd at 7pm in ISC 1127. The event is free and open to everyone! Register with the link in our bio.

Okay so today is a special birthday. Blaire doesn’t know this, but she sort of saved my life. It was 2022, I was leaving Baltimore after a bad breakup and was so depressed to be moving back in with my mom. Then I get a text saying “Hey if you aren’t busy, do you want to come to Nashville and help me with Lady ADHD? You have a theater background and know the show pretty well.” So I got in the car and went because I had nothing to lose. And two years later we have been to Nashville,Richmond, Charlotte, New York, Carrol County, Boston (we don’t talk about the Boston show… Don’t ask) and more. Happy Birthday Blaire! I’m so proud of what you’ve accomplished and you’ve inspired me. No one can drink diet cokes like you and even when I’m feeling lazy, you never stop to push me into the right direction. If I were a cat, I’d totally let you be my mom.
