Somehow it’s been 7 years since @postroski was here so it was good to tour him on some of the latest! Sneaky long 5 hour enduro ride trying to fit it all in.

On the edge of a classic special stage from Enduro World Series (2017 and 2019) and now from #TransMadeira. Boca do Risco has been nominated two times for trail of the year and here’s what we love about it:

- steep switchbacks 👇
- unique views over the north coast of Madeira 🏝️
- totally rebuilt by our trail crew to make it safe and rideable 🪓
- remote location 🌴
- variety of terrain and forest from top to bottom 🍂
- 340 meters of descent 📉

This trail is finally part of a legal trail network that we’ve been working for the last 15 years and we’re proud to be part of that process! What memories you have from this trail?

13 whole years. It’s hard to believe it’s been that long and the reason I wasn’t first to the news was probably because I have no idea how to say what I want to say.

I never really had any grand goals when I started. I was just a kid riding his bike. I am lucky to have had people in my corner that believed in me and gave me chances. I took that and worked as hard as I could. 2 World Cup overalls and the 2nd most wins of all time is truly more than I ever thought would happen.

I’ve struggled with this post because I want to thank everyone, but there’s just too many people to thank. I hope you all know who you are, everyone had a hand in getting me to where I am today.

That’s not just the success. It’s the memories, experiences and growth along the way. I am so happy for it to be over, I had an absolute blast doing what I love and I want to leave it at that. Proving I could win again and having an opportunity for the future in the sport were the final pieces in allowing me to step away.

I feel so lucky and grateful to have had this career. I can’t wait for what’s next and to keep riding my bike. See you on the trails!
Much love.

P.S. I cried writing this. But I’m happy.
