Thoughts: thank you to the competitors who gave me an opportunity to showcase my skills today. Competing is hard and it’s scary. Everyone should be proud of themselves when they do it. Overall I feel immense gratitude win or lose that I get to even move with my body in the ways we do. I’m happy I won but coming into this I was ok with any outcome as long as I tried my best. @rickylundell told me effort over outcome not long ago and I’ve been repeating that to myself, my students and anyone who listens to me yap.

What this means: it means I’m officially selectable in the next @pgfworld draft. For any teams interested in me, I’m primarily looking to fill a 155 slot. I can also do 170.

Thank yous: thank you to the Kings for putting on this event and their staff for always being kind to me.

Thank you to @theheathercutler always always always. Anytime I win I never feel like it’s just for me. I always look for you in crowds and it always gives me a peace I need.

Thank you to my team @gaidama.usa I got a lot of compliments on my shorts!

Thank you to my team @potential.jiujitsu for helping me create the right environment for all of us to grow and to those that showed up to support me and my other students competing.

Thoughts: Felt great to perform again.

I was really curious what I’d do considering I’ve improved so much of my overall game I feel like I can win anywhere almost anytime.

Overall I felt extremely light competing and can’t wait@to do it again in a few weeks.
