REPC checked! Ready to take on @malaysiatamannegaraultra race day tomorrow with Bryan @soggypaper and Epul @are_pul11.

Race strategy is simple: control what I can, adapt to what I can’t.

The route is going to be technical—it is what it is, and we’ll just respect the trail and let it unfold step by step. One thing I’m definitely dialing in this time is my eye protection. Welcome back to a day in the life living in Malaysia! And today we’re tackling the optometrist, the drug store and getting art supplies!! All while solo parenting in the Malaysian hazy heat 🫠

I can’t lie though, it was a packed day but A LOT of fun!

Since we moved to Malaysia from Canada there’s been an undeniable shift in the way we go out and run errands because we don’t drive here, and only use grabs (ride-share, like uber). So when we do have a bunch of things to get done, we’ll try to go to a mall - because in Malaysia everything you could possibly need can be found at a mall 😂

But today was an exception because my optometrist wasn’t located in a mall, so we took about 4 grabs to get around. It’s definitely not for the weak (especially when you have a hangry toddler).

Also! Can we talk about the fact that I had my face measured and was basically presented a curated set of glasses that would be perfect for me (AND IT’LL be READY IN 4 DAYS!!!) Canada could never 👎 thank you to @pottglasses for an incredible experience!
