GOLD COAST 500 | SATURDAY WRAP A tough day on the streets of Surfers Paradise! Race 1 โ€“ DNF after a big hit with the wall at the Beach Chicane. Made a mistake, a big one. One of very few this year, but unfortunately this place does not forgive mistakes in the slightest. Race 2 โ€“ P27 โžก๏ธ P5 ๐Ÿ”ฅ A solid recovery and left absolutely nothing on the table. Head down, press on and go again tomorrow! Massive thanks to everyone who continues to back us. To Bruce and Scott from Heinrich Performance & Tuning, Thank-you for getting me back out there for race 2. @pourandpolish\ @citydiscounttyres\ @cdtportadelaide\ CR International\ @doorworx\_\ @bossreo_steelfixing\ @koan_solutions\ @brazzalegroup\ @Squadwear\ Adamis Sand & Metal\ @nakcabinetryperth\ Collins Concrete Pumping\ On The Button\ SA Pool Constructions\ @tfh.hire\ @attaboy_hair\ @southernearthlandscaping\ Heinrich Performance & Tuning \#91 #AussieRacingCars #GoldCoast500 #NeverGiveUp #ChampionshipFight

GOLD COAST 500 | FRIDAY WRAP ๐Ÿ P5 in Practice โœ… P12 in Qualifying Had a lap going that was good enough for the front row, but unfortunately the red flags had other ideas near the end of the lap. Just another typical Gold Coast qualifying session! Plenty of pace in the car and everything still to play for. Time to get our elbows out and fight forward tomorrow! ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ”ฅ Massive thanks to everyone backing us this weekend! @pourandpolish @citydiscounttyres @cdtportadelaide CR International @doorworx_ @bossreo_steelfixing @koan_solutions @brazzalegroup @Squadwear Adamis Sand & Metal @nakcabinetryperth Collins Concrete Pumping On The Button SA Pool Constructions @tfh.hire @attaboy_hair @southernearthlandscaping Heinrich Performance & Tuning #91 #AussieRacingCars #GoldCoast500 #ChampionshipFight

Sunday done at The Bend โ€” and that wraps up the weekend. Race 3 was probably our best showing of the weekend. We got to the front and led laps, but just did not quite have the car speed to hold off Diesel Thomas and came home P3. Race 4 we had the pace, but with a seven-car fight for the lead we made the decision to sit on the back of the train, stay out of trouble and bank the points. We finished P8, giving us P5 for the round. Not quite the weekend we were chasing, but we kept working at it, kept scoring points and most importantly we have extended our championship lead to 16 points heading into the final round. A huge thank you to Heinrich Performance & Tuning for all the work throughout the weekend. A massive thank you as well to everyone who continues to support me and make this possible: Pour & Polish City Discount Tyres SA Pool Constructions CR International Boss Reo DoorWorx Adamis Sand & Metal Collins Concrete Pumps On The Button Brazzale Group Squadwear NAK Cabinetry Crete & Works Co. Saturday done at The Bend. P6 in Race 1 and P6 again in Race 2. Still a bit to find, but we are chipping away at it and making progress each time we hit the track. The car is getting better and we are continuing to work through some set up changes to get ourselves back where we want to be. The good news is we will start P3 for tomorrowโ€™s race, so we have put ourselves in a good position to have a proper crack at it. Friday done at The Bend. ๐Ÿ P5 in Practice and P9 in Qualifying. Not exactly the start we wanted heading into the weekend, but it is only qualifying and there is still a long way to go with four races ahead of us. We missed the setup window a little in Practice 1 and then, while chasing some more straight-line speed, found an issue with the diff. The boys have been working through it tonight and hopefully we have been able to rectify it for tomorrow. Starting P9 gives us some work to do, but we will try to move forward.
