We had plans to spend our 2-year anniversary in Catalina… but a better idea came along. 🤭 Traded island views for festival vibes, and we wouldn’t change a thing.

In BIGHT, the walls don’t talk, they bleed. Paintings hang in almost every scene, not as decoration, but as the inner lives of our characters made visible. Each piece a mirror, a warning, or a wound. We had the privilege of featuring the work of real artists whose voices are woven into every frame.

Meet @_yori_x co-founder of @whiteroomla with @markhapka and director, DP, and VFX artist of the opening and closing titles and co-producer of BIGHT. Yori delivers a visual feast that ties up the film in a perfect shibari knot 🪢

Stills from the Closing Credits of @bightfilm
“When I know your soul, I will paint your eyes” - Amedeo Modigliani

The concept of the closing titles was to paint the eyes of each character with brush stroke - echoing one of the themes of revelation in the film, juxtaposing each with a world painted red.

I animated amazing key art by @poursauce and comped together moments in the film with additional aerial footage I captured of LA.

BIGHT is out now - available on Apple TV and Prime

What a night. Celebrated our @bightfilm premiere with an incredible group of people. This indie film could not have been made without the contributions of our LA creative community and I can’t wait for the release of my directorial debut February 10th, 2026. @markhapka @cameroncowperthwaite we did it 🔥

Thank you @laemmlenoho @chef_alex_fr @als_hospitality_services @ryanhartfordofficial @houston_bros @toledodiamondfilmnoirsoul @jerrybrunskill @diamante_murru and our unbelievably talented cast and crew ❤️🪢
