10 YEARS!!!!!🥳
2026 is our 10 year anniversary 🤯🤩!!! TEN YEARS of Folks Films began with me and Taylor talking about what we wanted from life on a roadtrip to Regina. We hoped we could make the vision come true, and NOW to see the community who has participated in all the projects and work to this date is unreal. 🥰🥹

10 years of grinding, learning, and having the most fun times with the best indie film community here. 🎬📽️ we didn’t know NOTHIN about the film industry when we started…but thanks to this Winnipeg scene we learned and have grown this company into something we only dreamed of.

⭐️We had a Premiere for our Season 2 of our webseries Big Small Town, and we also showed a bunch of old projects. Most of all we wanted to thank everyone for being part of our community, teaching us, having love and patience with us, and being such great people to work with. Here’s to the next 10 years ❤️❤️❤️

ALSO MERCH IS COMING!!!!!

Sarah Jane Martin is a comedian who has always felt more puzzled by the “normal” world than by the things that make her stand out. Her comedy leans into the absurdity of everyday life — the mundane things nobody else seems to question and the minor inconveniences people treat like catastrophes — delivered with the dry, rambling energy of someone who has been quietly clocking the bizarre details of human behaviour for years. Shaped by early exposure to Norm MacDonald and the golden era of ’90s SNL, and now inspired by performers like Meg Stalter, Sarah Jane has carved out a voice that is distinctly her own: sharp, self-aware, and refreshingly unfiltered.
