(Richard Baxter, Poetical Fragments) Although this quote refers directly to teeth, it is always better to get your tooth treated the moment it starts to ache, rather than let it rot. And if it starts to riot, get it treated then too! To lose a tooth is not a gain. REALLY! Been 10 days since I started my housejob. Ngl adjusting in a new routine after weeks of staying home has been tough, hectic and very different. Suddenly you're the *ADULT* in the room. Your juniors will look up to you for *GUIDANCE* and ask for *SOLUTIONS.* You see the excitement of being a newly appointed House Officer slowly fading, and realise the responsibilities that weigh upon you now. You can't be the carefree student anymore, because for everything you'll be responsible and accountable. You can't chill at the cafe with your friends anymore, you can't call in sick like you used to. Life has transitioned from a happy new graduate to a tired responsible HO in like 10 days. THE GRIND IS REAL. Despite all this, everyday brings new challenges, new responsibilities, and new experiences. And above all the satisfaction of relieving someone's pain makes your pain a little less. Another collaboration's post with talented writer @2510_ivy Please visit his profile to follow there is something unique about the night sky that I am fond of, I spend my profound nights with you, I was aware of the creeping fret, the poisons and obstructions of decay like serenades quailing, awakening you with luscious forehead kisses, while with the fragrance of limes the bees are gleaning to harvest. No drop of water might quench our thirst, no fruit might soothe our agony. It is a specimen of game which I have just introduced like a cicada with morsel tasting these wines which are sweet and also too much so for my palate, like a dialect of cerulean cinder the harbor lays still and beautiful, calming everyones eyes. beneath the old forage is a sapphire gleaming, the pond of our shadows laying cobalt as a mirroring bright sky with the dark azure with the light which tints. We may love, and love, and love like scorching bonfire blessed Everything sounds to me somber and trite, these questions echo to unanswered melancholic feeling of valor, where souls are deep buried to quench the thirst every pore in my body was a fountain of love unlike a cold sweat, conjecture with the essence of hearts lifted to grow in bountiful lands where no hold is barred. what once escorted as lifeless, darkness-restrainted sight twinge in my lungs only to evolve into what can be broken. In desolate hours I ramble the fading memories of sun and moon which begin to mingle, waning splendors there were clouds across the vast sky with moon and its beauty, questions haunted me throughout the days and the lonely nights. 'The string of Nostalgia' @the_nightingale02 @thechaoskiller Part 1/2 To the boy in black jacket, Leaves on the ground with their yellow hues have always saddened me. The skies, The trees, all the nature we talk in poetries, the visual sceneries in Autumn ; they dawn on me  a certain kind of melancholy. Would it make me weird if I say, that I've associated a specific emotion with every season like we do with people. Summer is my verve, Winter is my Tranquil, Spring is my rejoice, and Autumn is my sad. Do you remember that backyard? The swing? The black tyre? I still come to it and share my part of sadnees with it, and see myself indulged slowly in nostalgia which they call denial of the present. But what if there is no present? Will it still be called denial, or a way to overpower the gloom with what's left in the past, a bit of happiness it has to offer? Do you remember the forest we drew in my drawing pad. I have kept it with me through all these years, like a souvenir. I still look at it sometimes and  think of the 9 hours we spent under the blue sky. Our giggles and the gushes of winds seemed to synchronize and that was the first time I laughed this much since I moved to the town. It was your last day there, and my first. You were new to me, so was I to you. But then you left, and I am still here. Isn't it funny? That sometimes years of togetherness leave you emotionally untouched but even a second of happiness with someone dwell in your heart like an eternity? October 13,1998. If only I could go back to that day, and ask you one more question amidst all the giggles and colours and the swings and the races, I won't have to call you "the boy in the black jacket". (Temporary rant) I see people's friendships evolve into something more beautiful than before. But me, well I stand and watch as mine blaze and burn to cinders. I give and give till I've got nothing left to give but still in the end I'm the one who's left nursing old wounds that reopen and hurt worse than ever. . I'm constantly surrounded by people and they're amazing but each and every one of them has their own long standing friends at their side; everyone except me. It leaves me with a sense of longing and a deepfound, heart wrenching realization that I'm a mere liability. I know that I'm probably the toxic one in every one of my relationships and that is exactly the reason why I tend to snap at people and push them away just to give them a chance to step away, away from me and let me dwell in my self-created mental hell. . I've lost so much this year and just when I think I'm over it the hurt hits me like a train wreck and knocks me off my feet. I've tried to reason with the changing tide and for a moment I thought I was actually managing to do so. I started trusting and letting people, having fun and getting used to new company but there it was again; an incident waiting to break all the courage and hope I'd mustered after having been low for far too long.
