2025 began with an otherworldly aurora, snow storms, baking the perfect sourdough bread, Eilean Donan Castle, ferries, icy roads, a cold swim in the ocean, black houses, the magical Callanish standing stones, music, new friends, admiring a Moon Venus conjunction in Pisces in the night sky, weaving Harris tweed and meditating about how our human lives can be singularly and beautifully woven together.

Venus has entered Aquarius today and immediately checks in with Pluto, at 0° of the sign. Pluto is the tenant of Aquarius for 19 years. Whatever Aquarius is in your chart definitely feels the power, the pressure and the intensity.
In the meanwhile, Mercury in Sagittarius and Mars in Leo go backwards, dragging up the past and in some instances dredging up things, situations, people, unfinished business or conflicts from the past.
Venus is obviously relationships but it’s also what we value and what we want. Venus in Aquarius is original and unconventional relationships. The Plutonian conjunction makes it messy.
Venus with Pluto is obsession. It can sometimes reveal the need to get away from someone or something too controlling. Alternatively, it could be the attempt to manipulate someone out of love or out of desire. There’s a great number of relational challenges here.
Pluto is fear. Fear of control and fear of power. That fear is important to understand. Venus will soon oppose Mars, and at the very beginning of January we will have the dreaded second Mars-Pluto Opposition of the year.
I find quite beautiful the fact that the exact Venus-Pluto conjunction today coincides with the reopening of Notre Dame de Paris. Nearly destroyed by fire in 2019 but now rising from its ashes more beautiful than ever. This is how Pluto works, when you trust its death & rebirth process and surrender to it without fear.
In the next few days, we will experience an interesting interplay building up between Venus and Mars. Venus will be stronger in Aquarius with Pluto as she rules the first decan of Aquarius. But do not expect an easy moment for Venusian things until the second half of December. It’s too intense to feel easy. However, Mars and Venus opposing each other can be fun, they can create sparks. In a way, this could be a very passionate combination in personal charts, depending on the area where it takes place. It could be perhaps chasing or attracting things that we want. We might go more actively after what we desire at that time, focusing our energy and being more direct.

Your words will bloom in springtime / in this arid garden / in this seedless garden / I’ll be sleeping on a leaf / fall will catch me shivering / in the safety of this garden / this quiet windless garden 🍎🌗

To my dearest soul friend @gurwann_tvg AKA Juanito. You filmed these images in the fairytale woods and we were like children with your eerie visions of Blanche-Neige barefoot at dawn in the misty fields, because Seed was your favorite song. I remember feeling so deeply insecure. Thank you for guiding the seed towards the light.
The seed has never known the flower. And the seed cannot even believe that it has the potentiality to become a beautiful flower. The journey is long and it is always safer not to start that journey because the path is unknown. Hazards and pitfalls are on the way. The seed is secure, hidden inside a hardcore. But the seed tries, it makes an effort, drops the hard shell, it starts moving. Immediately the fight starts: the struggle with the soil, with the stones, with the rocks. And the seed was very hard and the sprout is now very soft. There was no danger for the seed, the seed could have survived for millennia. For the sprout, the dangers are many. But the sprout starts towards the unknown, towards the SUN, towards the source of light, not knowing where, not knowing why, except that a DREAM possesses the seed and so the seed moves.
Thank you for your laugh. Thank you for your eyes always finding beauty everywhere. Thank you for your kind heart, always connected to mine, wherever we are, in the good times and in the bad times. Thank you for reminding me not to be late for my flight when I travel abroad… Thank you for your delicious pizza and cookies. Thank you for your presence, your kindness and your honesty. Thank you for your talent. Who would have thought, when we met in Paris on that windy Halloween day, that we would climb mountains together? With all my love and gratitude, Bilil (but for you it will always be Blanche-Neige).

Once upon a time, @powerofthewitch met @nacoparis and they did their first photoshoot together with Stéphane Olivier.

Later on, Naco taught me how to walk the runway like a pro during @parisfashionweek and how to remain perfectly still during a performance… without fainting!
