The bad.
“Dropping a tire, going off track. Turning in early. Overdriving.

The good.
Fixing it. And pretty much everything else. Heat races. Final. Practices were pretty good, too.”

When I first started racing, if anyone had told me in just five years @mazdamotorsports would nominate me for their Spec MX-5 Shootout, I wouldn’t have believed them. Yet here we are!

I’m honored to be nominated amongst some of the best grassroots racers in the country to have a chance at something that has launched so many careers.

I can’t thank everyone who has helped me get here enough. From @coyotekarts and @ppkartingfl for brining me to the next level in karting to @rarespecmotorsports for all the support we’ve gotten in our short time @spec.miata racing. Of course my parents @gthek and @yvettet29 for always supporting me and everyone else who has jumped in along the way!

Pumped to have this opportunity yet again and thank you to the whole Mazda Motorsports crew for their consideration. Now it’s time to get to work!

40th -> 5th at CKNA Grand Nationals X

A crash in heat 1 set us back, but we drove through the field on multiple occasions to get a podium at the largest 4 cycle race in the world. We also raced in the Outta the Box challenge on Saturday night, where we came home P2.

Thank you to @ppkartingfl and @coyotekarts for bringing me onto the team two years ago and their continued support. Extra special shoutouts to @jamesoverbeck_48 and @matt.overbeck for building my motor on Saturday and to @jordanclineracing_ for letting me use her backup kart.

Grands in the books. Overall, disappointed with the final results. I ended with a DNF in Light, and 23rd in Medium. Thank you @coyotekarts @ppkartingfl @paulyracing @jamesoverbeck_48 @lawsonspeedshop for everything.

FOUR Grand Final WINS makes it another amazing CKNA Grands for Coyote Motorsports!

Coyote chassis captured Grand Final wins in 4 of the 9 classes at @cupkarts_northamerica Grand Nationals X this past weekend at NCMP. In all, Coyote drivers claimed 13 podiums in Sunday's main events.

⭐ Highlights:

Wisconsin's 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗱 of Coyote dealer @bradyschadracing won both headline finals, Senior Light and Senior Medium. After capturing a hard-fought Light final earlier, Schad returned for Medium and drove from P38 to post the win in an incredible drive. Schad did it cleanly, as well, overtaking 37 karts on his way to victory without receiving a penalty.

In Medium, Florida's @lucasthek52 finished a strong P2 to Schad on his @ppkartingfl Coyote, while @aidanlourenco completed the podium in P5 on his PPK Coyote.

@spencer.hite gave the Coyote Kryptonite cadet chassis its first Grands victory. Hite, a former Coyote Kid Kart racer who returned to our chassis this summer, ran at the front of Cadet all event and concluded his Grands with a Sunday afternoon triumph in the Grand Final. Elam Stoner joined Hite on the podium in P4, giving PPK two podiums in Cadet.

𝗔𝗝 𝗥𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸 of Ohio-based Coyote dealer @roderickracingdevelopment continued his string of success in Masters. Roderick controlled the second half of Sunday's Masters Final to race to victory on his RRD Coyote Zenith. Roderick also finished P5 in the Heavy main. The Ohio driver has been arguably the top Masters racer since entering the age 35 & up division at the Charlotte Spring Nationals in March, where he also won.

Other Coyote podium finishers inGrand Finals were:

𝗔𝘂𝗯𝗿𝗲𝘆 𝗕𝗮𝗯𝗰𝗼𝗰𝗸, P5 in Kid Kart.

𝗪𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗟𝘆𝗻𝗻 and 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘁𝘁 𝗙𝗮𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗲, P3 and P4 in Masters, respectively.

Illinois drivers 𝗥𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 and 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗱 𝗕𝗼𝗹𝘁𝗼𝗻 both nearly winners in Legends with Cassity settling for P3 and Bolton P5.

Thank you to everyone who fielded a Coyote last weekend at NCMP. With over 100 Coyote entries, we're extremely proud and humbled. We'll have a full Grand Nationals X Coyote recap in the coming weeks.

Runner up at Grand Nationals X🥈

Went in looking for the big win, and even though we didn’t quite get it done, I couldn’t be happier. We had one of the fastest karts out of the gate and qualified near the front of the 89 in Light and 102 in Medium.

Ran strong in the heats and led in most of them, lining me up well for Sunday in both classes.

The features were both some of the craziest races in my career. In light I didn’t put my positioning together well enough, putting me p11 at the line. Medium was looking to be even worse, from getting driven through and mowing some grass a few times to charging back through and having to do it what seemed like over and over again. I kept my head down and was p13 with 3 to go and drove up to a p3, ending with a p2 when it was all said and done.

Thank you to @ppkartingfl and @coyotekarts for all the support and @christophermckeithanracing for being a great leader and mentor. Also thank you to @lawsonspeedshop for the power and @jamesoverbeck_48 and @paulyracing for the coaching. Congratulations to my teammate @aidanlourenco on the podium, it was great to share it with you and what a drive, and congratulations to @bradyschadracing on your W’s, it’s great to see a Coyote on top!

Until next year, I’m hungry for it!
