District Championship last weekend! A strong performance from Acke in the big youth class. 💪 P1 in timed qualifying. Moto 1 — good start and brought it home in P2. Moto 2 — P5 off the gate, worked his way forward to another P2. Good flow on the bike all day and a really solid performance throughout. Still more to work on, but definitely another step in the right direction. What should never happen, happened today. After a fantastic season, we were supposed to finish what has been one of the most fun race series of the year this weekend — Mälarfräsen. A cup with a dedicated girls’ class, held over 15 rounds throughout the season. Elicia has taken part in 14 out of 15 possible rounds, missing one due to injury. She also managed the incredible achievement of winning every single moto she started in, taking 26 moto wins in total. Today’s final round of the cup started well, with a holeshot and the lead until three laps to go in first moto, when Elicia went down over one of the jumps and was badly injured. A femur fracture has been confirmed, and surgery will follow. Despite today’s crash, Elicia secured the overall win in the series. 🏅 We would like to send a huge thank you and love to all the amazing people and friends we have around us. From the support at the track for both Elicia and her dad, to helping take care of everything — the bike, the van, the gear, the packing and everything around it — and for all the love, care and kindness. Throughout the series, you have taken on every challenge with great determination, focus and a willingness to learn. Your fighting spirit shines through in everything you do, and it has been amazing to follow your development step by step. You have shown many times that you have both the speed and technique to be part of the fight near the front of the field. With a 3rd place as your best moto result, and despite missing one round due to injury, you should be very proud of your 7th place overall in the Swedish Championship Girls 85cc class. We are proud of the progress you have made, but even more proud of the way you keep working, learning and growing.
