POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Prime @wizards_comics in the late 90's early 2000's was honestly the best run ever. When they changed the format of the magazine and became more about movies, TV and pop culture and less about the comics was when it started to fall off...at least it did for me. Which is why I'm so happy about the existence of @comicsthemagazine!

EYE CANDY is a compilation of illustrations by Elizabeth Clavell, also known more widely by her online handle, @LiizardEmojii. In the collection of works from 2023-2026, her art style is an ode to girly media with an alternative edge, with lifelong inspirations from shoujo anime and online subcultures.

Some indie comics publishers put so much effort into making sure their books can stand with the best, yet they still have trouble getting into #libraries

Barbra Dillon and I chat about what we can do to bridge the gap.

Check out the covers for RELIC HUNTER #1 and #2!

RELIC HUNTER 2 will be released along with the re-release of RELIC HUNTER 1, so you can read them both right away!

The FOC date is 11/02, so make sure to order at a comic shop near you before it’s too late!
@lunarfw Code: 1026PP1084, 1026PP1085

Driven by vengeance and fueled by the dark sorcery of an eldritch cult, Asif Ibn Hamza rescues his true love Jamila from a brothel run by the corrupt Knights Templar and runs into a trap set by his most dangerous enemy, the evil Wizard Al-Aduw. Their magical battle plays out across the stars and sets in motion an epic story that will span space and time! RELIC HUNTER is a homage to 1970's Barbarian comics and 1980's "outlaw" comics; to the fantasy art of DUNGEONS & DRAGONS and heavy metal album covers.

What keeps independent comics out of libraries isn’t a lack of readers. It’s a system of costly distribution and policy barriers.

How can libraries and creators make space for more independent voices? Share your take.

I see that @comicsthemagazine bumped their cc over price from $2.99 to $3.99 and that's fine. As long as you get more bang for your buck! I'm always in favor of getting more bang for my buck abd I always enjoy going to my lcs @invisiblejetcomicsinc to pick this up either my other books. 💯😎❤️📚🎨 #comicsthemagazine #ilovecomicbooks
