So grateful for @childrensbookforall to bring us together. Finally found a place where I belong. Amongst people who accept me, where I can unmask and be myself.

Went for a trip to Ahmedabad with these people. Finally got to meet a few of them whose faces I have only seen on camera. Did some garba together. We got even closer. Really needed this wonderful time.

Here's for more amazing moments. Waiting to meet more people from CBA. And hoping for more closeness and bonding.

Bavra mann dekhne chala ek sapna.. Azaadi ka sapna.
A dream which was envisioned by our Constitution and legislation, but our society fails to realise year after year, decade after decade, centuries after centuries.

CBA read Betiyaan Bhi Chaahen Azaadi by the powerful @bhasinkamla and @srujangatha to once again dream that dream of Azaadi. Azaadi to be ourselves in a world which constantly asks us to be quiet, obedient and small.

We peeled layers of the rage we carry and our longing to be truly free.

Thank you Sumz for anchoring the space. The illustrations, hands down, are one of my fav illustrations I've seen since a while. 🌈

Through the book, we made some art by creating one element from our happiness city to make our own collective happiness city. Something I'm carrying close to my heart is how all of us want to co-build a CBA village. 🌱💛 A dream, a mission, a yearning and so much love.

We celebrated my father's life and death through songs, coming together, lighting a candle, and making grief maps.❤️

CBA, you're my family. You all have my heart and I'm especially grateful to the people who stayed up late to make this memorial happen. 🫂
