OUR FUTURE is here. The 16mm hand-processed films are now live and archived forever on publicaccesslimited.com

For this project, filmmaker participants were asked to create an all in-camera film in response to the prompt “OUR FUTURE”.
Every OP team was mailed 100’ of 16mm film and asked to mail it back once exposed along with an original accompanying soundtrack.

Every roll was hand-processed and scanned by PAL. No edits were made and soundtracks were placed in sync to the first exposed frame of film. Participants saw their short films play for the first time at the same time as the audience while they were broadcasted as blocks within the PAL: FUTURE ARCHIVES live broadcast on June 26th, 2026.

OUR FUTURE: I hand developed a bunch of 16mm films from filmmakers around the country and you can now go watch them. I mailed 100’ of 16mm film to all the participants and asked for them to mail it back once exposed along with an original soundtrack created blind. Every roll was hand-processed. No edits were made, and I synced the soundtracks to the first exposed frame of film. The filmmakers saw their film for the first time at the same time as the audience when we live-streamed them all online last week. You can now check the films out on our archive publicaccesslimited.com or on our YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/@ fugues_tv) on the Channel 3 playlist. #analog #16mm #handprocessedfilm #filmchallenge

What a fun outing! Thank you to everyone that came to the FUTURE ARCHIVES taping or tuned in to the broadcast! It was so fun for our little analog short to be a part of that line up!

I also wanted to give a huge thank you to @kay.of.lore for her help as my co-creator and DP on this project! We miraculously didn’t have any mishaps, even though the film stock we used was super tricky, and we have her to thank! Also a big shout out to @kimberlyrosecomedy for volunteering her time and agreeing to drive all the way across the city to throw a slushie in my face. Thankful for your commitment to the bit, as well as you having good aim 😂

And of course, thank you again @atekimbo and @imcphoto for crafting the big beautiful ball that was the “heart” of this short, as well as @jenovajake for doing such a great job on the music!

We’ll post the full film online in the next couple weeks for those of y’all that missed the broadcast! You’ll see it here and @prankstersink ! ✌️ Until then, I hope y’all are having a fun summer and staying creative!

The prime way to experience Vancouver is a night walk + indie angst 🎧

There’s also something sentimental about a solo night alone ending surrounded by friends (even if they’re just in your photos)

⛳️ FORE ⛳️

A fun day with @prankstersink celebrating Jayden’s big 3️⃣2️⃣ 🎂

Fun fact, just found out today it’s “Fore” not “Four”. I don’t know if everyone knows that or not, but if you didn’t, now you do 😅

We’re getting to do a super cool thing this month. Icebox Radio Theater will be doing its first live show in Los Angeles and I get to help make it happen! This night will be a great showcase of voice acting, live sound effects, and improvised music! If you’re in town link to tickets is in my bio! And if you’re not lucky you it’ll be broadcast and link is still in my bio!
