“You left without goodbye, But your memories….”

Whenever I think about him, there’s a sharp sting in my heart. It’s strange how, in just a second, a lifetime of memories comes crashing about, our silly fights, wild celebrations, endless gossip, night rides, parties, late-night talks, festivals, trips… all of it, all at once. It’s been a year since he left us, but my heart still refuses to accept it. Not just me, none of us can.
There are still moments when I feel like talking to him. I still text him. I still share reels with him. Sometimes, without even thinking, I call his number, waiting… and my mind tells me, 'He is just busy with work, he is a policeman, right? He’ll reply when he free.
But somewhere, deep inside, I know… I know he’s not coming back. And yet, I wait.
You know what hurts me the most?
It’s not just the memories, not just the silence…It’s when I see someone posting stories or reels with their friends. In that split second, my heart sinks. A thousand memories of us start blinking in my mind, our laughter, our talks, our moments… and it hits me so hard.
Because I know… I can’t have that anymore. Not with him. Not ever again.
I feel this strange, painful jealousy, I’ve lost something I can never get back. That’s when I fall into a quiet kind of trauma… a place where only memories keep me company.
I still pray, from the bottom of my heart, that no one else ever has to go through this. I wouldn’t wish this feeling on anyone.
I don’t know when this will end, or if it ever will. For me, he wasn’t just a friend — he was more. His absence doesn’t visit me sometimes — it haunts me all the time, every second, every breath.
Whatever life brings, one thing will never change. He is my best one. And I will carry him with me until my last breath🙂".
