Rang De Basanti turns twenty this year and it is still being quoted by people who I think watched a different film.

We remember the candles. The film shows them being put out. We remember the anger. The film shows it killing five people and fixing nothing. The minister gets replaced. The deal stays a deal.

The only thing in three hours that actually moves the country is twenty minutes on a radio station, and nobody has ever called anything a Rang De Basanti moment because of that.

Ajay’s mother does not wake up when the minister is shot. She wakes up after the broadcast.

What remains unexpressed may be the greatest measure of human potential.
Artificial intelligence works with what has already been expressed. Human intelligence reaches towards what is yet to come: the ideas, dreams, stories and possibilities that have not yet found their way into the world.

As Prasoon Joshi reminds us, the most beautiful song may not have been written yet. The most beautiful dream may not have been dreamt yet.
And perhaps, in all that remains unwritten, undreamt and unimagined, lies the limitless possibility of being human.

In 2027, we celebrate 20 years of the ‘greatest literary show on earth!’

Losing a loved one is excruciatingly painful.
We keep them alive through our love and memories, so that they don't get lost in the layers of time and newness.

Grief takes its own time, sadness gulps my throat and scares me away, and I tried singing this song without fumbling.

More love and strength to everyone who miss your loved ones. I hope you find the purpose in life through serving and living for others.

Hug your loved ones today and tell them how much you love them! ❤️
