Saying goodbye to one adventure to start a new one is a little scary but I can guarantee it’ll be Epic✨

Thank you to every single person who has supported me through my journey at SeaWorld. I am so grateful for the experiences and all of the people that I’ve grown to see as family🩵💙

𝐌𝐄𝐀𝐓 𝐂𝐔𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐒: Here’s the under water reveal video for the 4.3” heavily serrated Megalodon shark tooth that I had found while diving with Capt John & Carrie @fossil_junkies on Saturday. I was planning to drop the release last night during the Super Bowl, but I didn’t want to take anyone away from watching all of the celebrity cameo advertising, @taylorswift , the @chiefs or @usher incredible halftime show. Hopefully this doesn’t disappoint 😜

Do you remember when you found your dream job? Mine was in 2009 when I rode Manta at SeaWorld Orlando for the first time. I wanted to learn how that complicated and stunning ride worked. In 2018 that dream became reality with a rides technician internship where I joined the Manta maintenance (Mantanance) team. In 2020 I rejoined SeaWorld's rides maintenance team and I can't even begin to say how much this position has meant to me for the last year and a half. The crews I worked with have been my family, through all the ups, downs, tough times, and we always had each other's backs. I've worked coasters, raft rides, night rides coverage, became a NAARSO certified rides inspector, even commissioned a new multi-launch coaster, a list of tasks I never thought I could EVER accomplish. This era of my life ended today, but I'll never forget all the friends and memories I made along the way. It's sad leaving a team you care for at a job that gives your life so much meaning, but tomorrow I leave rides maintenance and start as a Mechanical Engineer at Roush Entertainment Systems! Still I can't thank everyone from SeaWorld enough for helping me become who I am today, and the rides for keeping things interesting every day!
