What an unforgettable evening.

Last night, we officially celebrated the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of Eighty Nine DeKalb in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn—and what a way to begin this new chapter.

From the incredible energy in the room to the stunning design, meaningful connections, and unforgettable moments, the evening was nothing short of magical. None of it would have been possible without our amazing collaborators, partners, vendors, and team members whose talent, dedication, and passion brought this vision to life.

To everyone who joined us, supported us, and helped create such a remarkable experience—thank you. Together, we didn’t just open a building; we created a destination and a community.

Here’s to new beginnings, bold ideas, and the future of Eighty Nine DeKalb. ✨🥂

Jack’s Dad’s Hummus loves our planet, and we intend to keep it as healthy and clean as possible. The proof is in our packaging - we’ve been using eco-conscious rPET tubs made from recycled plastic for a while now.

Plus, for those who REALLY love the environment, head to @maisonjar.nyc in Greenpoint and @precyclenyc in Prospect Heights for hummus in closed loop glass jars. If you return your jar we clean and reuse it - no waste, baby!

The residents of @eightyninedekalb in Downtown Brooklyn / Fort Greene are lucky to have @precyclenyc just blocks away, plus they also deliver.

It’s a super low waste way to shop for groceries, cleaning, and personal care items. Another plus — these goods look cuter!

This is just one way residents of Eighty Nine DeKalb get to live sustainably at home. Check out the full story to learn of the rest.
