TWENTY25

Tying a bow on 2025, except I turned my 2025 into a magazine… are we shocked? No, of course I did. 💗🎀

2025 was one for the books. A year I will never forget. A year I know I’ll forever look back on as a turning point in my life.

It was my first year out of high school, and if I’m being completely honest, I had absolutely no idea what it was going to bring. Suddenly, everything was up to me. My schedule, my training, my future. I didn’t realise just how many decisions I’d have to make before 2025 even began, and how heavy those choices would feel at the time.

And if you know me, you know that making even a minor decision can quickly turn into a full-blown menty b. I’ve always been someone who overthinks, who worries about choosing the “right” path, who gets stuck wondering what might happen if I choose wrong. There were moments where the pressure felt overwhelming, where standing at a crossroads felt easier than actually taking a step forward.

Looking back now on the year that 2025 was, I couldn’t be more thankful for the way everything worked out. Not because it was perfect, but because it was real. Every experience, every challenge, every moment of doubt shaped me into a stronger and more confident version of myself. The uncertainty that once scared me became something that pushed me to grow.

The decisions I didn’t want to make—the ones I avoided because the thought of choosing stressed me out too much—ended up being the most important ones. And even though I didn’t always feel ready at the time, I trusted myself enough to move forward anyway. Now, standing on the other side of those choices, I can honestly say I’m happy with the decisions I’ve made. And that is all that truly matters.

2025 taught me that it’s okay not to have everything figured out. It’s okay to feel unsure, to be scared, and to take things one step at a time. What matters is showing up, trusting the process, and giving yourself grace along the way. This year will always hold a special place in my heart—not just for what it gave me, but for who it helped me become.
