“What do you look for in someone you’re considering dating?” 🎙️🤍

Will’s answer wasn’t about appearance or chemistry, it was about community.

The people we choose to surround ourselves with often say a lot about who we’re becoming. Are they pointing us closer to Christ? Do they challenge us, encourage us, and speak truth into our lives?

Community doesn’t tell you everything about a person, but it can give you a glimpse into their character, their priorities, and the direction they’re headed.

Watch this clip, then catch the full episode of For Such a Time As This wherever you listen to podcasts.

🎙️ NEW EPISODE OUT NOW 🤍

One of my favorite moments from this conversation with Will was his reminder that not every season is meant to look the same.

Just as trees don’t bloom year-round, neither do we.

There are seasons of growth, seasons of pruning, seasons of waiting, and seasons where it may feel like nothing is happening at all. But just because you can’t see the growth doesn’t mean God isn’t working beneath the surface.

If you’re struggling with God’s timing, feeling impatient for what’s next, or wondering if He’s forgotten about the desires on your heart, this conversation is for you.

The latest episode of For Such a Time As This is available now. Listen on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or go to the link in bio for the full YouTube video 🎙️✨

New episode drops tomorrow 🎙️🤍

If we are honest, I think one of the hardest parts of any season is waiting for direction from God when you want an answer right now.

In this clip, Will talks about learning to wait on the Holy Spirit instead of rushing ahead of God. Because sometimes the challenge isn’t hearing God’s voice; it’s having the patience to stay still long enough to listen.

Tomorrow, we dive into Will’s journey through marriage, divorce, fatherhood, singleness, and learning to trust God’s leading through every season.

Can’t wait for you to hear this conversation.

When I say, these last six weeks have changed my life, I am so serious. The connections made at @weareunionchurch and within the groups there are connections I plan to keep with me as I continue to walk in this beautiful path the Lord has me on. ❤️

The Way Walkers Group brought community I didn’t even realize I needed. Our leaders graciously and amazingly led us through the journey Christ had aligned for us this semester and I think it’s safe to say a lot of our lives were forever impacted.

Six weeks ago I had just jumped into Union as a home church and at the time while I knew it was the right decision I didn’t know why and I didn’t see the fruit that would come from it. Six weeks later I have encountered joy and peace and friendship in ways that are too much for words. Even if this was what He had for me here, this would be enough. However, I know He is not done yet and the best is yet to come. ❤️

This is the sound CapCut suggested and it just kind of fit perfectly ❤️

This is just a small snapshot of our last adventure. Joining connect groups at Union has been a breath of fresh air and I’m just trying to soak in every minute of this summer semester. I can’t wait to continue to make connections and do life with this family.

Doubt, stress, fear, whatever it is, if it isn’t from God, say bye bye to it in 2025 and say hello to freedom, love, healing and wholeness.

I share all about how I said goodbye to an orphan spirit and learned what it means to be a child of God in my first book “Orphan No More.” You can say goodbye to it too. Get “Orphan No More” at the link in bio.
