Introducing your first ever C5 Athletes of the Month presented by EB Athletics 🏆

The Category 5 Hurricane is the strongest storm out there. The C5 athlete of the month represents two Junior Canes athletes that have shown strength, dedication, determination, and consistent effort as an individual and as a supportive teammate in off ice training.

Each month EBA is selecting 2 athletes out of the over 700 athletes in the Junior Canes club that have stood out for their effort and achievement off of the ice.

First up from the @jrcanesgirls_19ut1 team, Presley Ray. For years now Presley has made an effort to make sure her development off the ice has matched her efforts on the ice and the work has continued to pay off. Recently hitting triple digits on her bench press we watched her encourage those around her to strive for more resulting in several teammates also PRing. We look forward to a bright future ahead for Presley📈

Next up representing 14u A, goalie Greyson McElheny.
Only a few weeks into the season Greyson has shown a commitment to effort and attitude that raises the bar for himself and those around him each and every session. The epitome of “getting out what you put in” Greyson has shown tremendous growth in such a short time. We have no doubt Greyson will continue to be a strong leader as he displays an unmatched work ethic. 🫡

Congrats to both athletes as they take home September C5 awards and best of luck to all those competing this weekend!
