The soup fueling my volcano hike training 🌋🍂 I'm hiking Acatenango in Guatemala on Nov 27–28 and training is in full swing.. so meal prep has to be high protein, easy, and something I actually look forward to eating. This one checks every box. How I make it: 1.Chop the butternut squash, bell peppers, red onion, carrots and a whole head of garlic onto a tray. Drizzle with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika and the fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, sage) 2.Roast at 400°F for 45 min to 1 hour, until everything's soft and caramelized 3.Squeeze the roasted garlic out and blend everything with chicken bone broth (I used Mon Boucher) and cottage cheese, that's the protein hack, it blends in completely smooth 4.Salt and pepper to taste 5.Top with parmesan... A LOT of parmesan Full ingredient list is on slide 2 👆 I always freeze a few batches for easy meal prep on busy shift weeks. Save this for soup season 🧡 Follow along with @journeywithsarika as I'm sharing my whole road to the volcano #butternutsquashsoup #highproteinmeals #mealprepideas #soupseason #fallrecipes

Sizzling Steak Fajita Bowl with Creamy Basil-Lime Yogurt 🥩🌿 Who said you need tortillas to enjoy fajitas?! 🔥 All the sizzling, juicy, smoky goodness of steak fajitas, minus the carbs from tortillas or rice! We’re talking tender steak cubes, colourful veggies, bold spices, and a creamy, herby yogurt sauce that takes this bowl to another level. 🥩 For the sizzling steak fajitas: * Steak or beef cubes * Sweet bell peppers, sliced * Onions, sliced * Shaved carrots * Fresh garlic, minced * Fresh basil * @preschoice steak marinade * Montreal steak seasoning * A pinch of Arabic seven spice * Salt, to taste * Tuxedo sesame mix 🌿 For the creamy basil-lime sauce: * 3 tbsp plain Greek yogurt * 1 small cucumber * 1 handful fresh basil * 1 garlic clove * Juice of ½ lime * A drizzle of olive oil * Salt & black pepper, to taste * @marcheadonis for all fresh ingredients 👩🏻‍🍳 Let’s make it! 1. Sizzle it up! Add your steak cubes, peppers, onions, garlic, and shaved carrots to a hot pan. Toss with steak marinade, Montreal steak seasoning, Arabic seven spice, and a little salt. 2. Add fresh basil and tuxedo sesame mix. Keep sautéing until the beef is cooked to your liking, the veggies are tender, and everything is beautifully caramelized and coated in those delicious pan juices. 3. Blend the magic! Combine all the yogurt sauce ingredients in a blender until creamy, smooth, and beautifully green. 4. Build your bowl! Spread a generous layer of basil-lime yogurt sauce across your plate, pile the sizzling steak and veggies on top, and finish with another sprinkle of tuxedo sesame mix. ✨ The result? A protein-packed, veggie-loaded, lower-carb dinner that’s creamy, savoury, fresh, and full of flavour. No rice, no tortillas, and absolutely no missing out! Save this for your next easy weeknight dinner! ❤️ #healthyrecipes #easyrecipes #highproteinmeals #torontofoodie #اكسبلور_فولو
