The white t-shirt vs. the white t-shirt outfits 🤍✨

Proof that a good basic is anything but basic! One timeless white tee, endless ways to style it.

A few hours to myself on Sunday 🤍

A little reset, a little creating, and some much-needed time doing something just for me.

I took The Essential by @full_lume_official along for the day and honestly loved having good light wherever I ended up, from getting ready at home to creating content on the go. The fact that it’s portable makes it such an easy addition to my routine, especially on content days. ✨

Sometimes a few hours to yourself is all you need to feel a little more like you again.

Basics, but make them work harder.

A simple tee, a linen skirt, brown accessories and some gold jewellery — nothing complicated, just good basics styled together.

The quality of your basics definitely matters. Invest in pieces you love that will live in your wardrobe for years to come.

Salty hair, sandy feet, and the comfiest @presics_au sets 🐚 Strolling the beach in our favorite cozy shorts and tops. Honestly, our favorite kind of outfit for a low-key beach day.

I've spent a long time studying someone else's wardrobe.

The white shirt. The black turtleneck. The jeans. The camel coat.

Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy gave me a vocabulary for restraint, proportion, and the power of a very good basic. That education will always be part of how I see clothes.

But eventually, I became more interested in the question that comes after imitation:
What do you do with what you've learned?
Because taste isn't about recreating someone else's life. It's about noticing what stays with you and making it your own.

That's where Anything Ornate begins.
A study of personal style, fashion history, objects, everyday life, and all the little things that make an ordinary day feel considered.

September is The Season of Taste.
Fall isn't about having more to buy.
It's about having more to notice.

Welcome back. You are inside the world of Anything Ornate.

Found the one. There’s nothing basic about it, it’s giving chic, giving versatile, giving “wear it everywhere” energy.

Packing it for a trip I’m not telling you about yet 👀 100% cotton, holds its shape, that’s non negotiable for me.

Guess where I’m headed and I’ll tell you if you’re close 😏
