i am extremely emotional!

my first two years in chicago consisted of me stuck feeling unfulfilled and incapable of establishing connections as strong as the ones i had with my amazing friends from home. it was a very lonely two years without an outlet to share my personality outside of a singular person

being apart of this team has been the most influential experience i’ve had in college. not only have i gained a group of sisters i can express myself with through dance but also through humor, friendship, understanding, anxiety, hard times, etc.

to everyone on my team i am so grateful. okay about to cry actually. it is impossible for you all to understand the impact you have left on my college experience, my mental health, and my self-confidence/assurance. i haven’t felt so welcomed in my whole life and everyone of you, and your acceptance, has played such a big role in that new feeling.

@dyanii.31 @abby_vwilson thank you guys for being the best captains i could ever ask for. @madisonfugett @sofia.putorti you guys have been the best first set of president and vice president ever. you have welcomed me not only in the dance studio, but outside of it, and you have no idea how much that means to me. every captain, every board member, every dancer, i know i have typed so much but i feel like it’s actually not a possibility for me to convey how much you all mean to me and how much i needed this team.

@sofia.putorti @genevievevannice @olivia_sopcic thank you for putting trust in me and joining my first solo piece of choreo. i love how full of personality, joy, and friendship it was and i had so much fun performing with you all.

this team is so funny, so full of personality, and so so beautiful. i love each and everyone of you so much. i’m going to miss ki-ing with you all every week THE HOUSE

love you uhh, bow, group bark on three, summoning my energy ball, checking my temperature, being a sleepy princess mama, and more. 💜💜💜💜 thank you thank you thank you all for completely shifting my chicago and college experience.
