Our reading around the world book club has been growing lately 📖✈️🌎

Nothing makes me happier than to see a crowd of both new and familiar faces each month to discuss stories from all over the globe. I love seeing how quickly everyone goes from the nerves of a first meeting to leaving with new friends.

Spent this pride sitting with a bunch of folks in session. It’s the first year I’ve been able to devote very intentional parts of my practice with queer pals and allies as we navigate these crunchy transits and this abrasive systemic collapse. Maybe you know this, or maybe you don’t, but the messages that move thru me for you are also things I need to hear for my own practice. I am reminded in every session that we are all human. We are all doing our best with the resources at hand. We are all navigating a hell of a lot, as in, more than most people know. It’s a wild time to commit to the practice of unknowing, of change, and of facing what is uncomfortable. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Thank you for spending pride with me in this way. I’ve watched myself unfurl time and time again. This year I felt completely sturdy in my body. I took myself to a massage. I did yoga. I took a bath and laid outside. I’m happy to be surrounded by a bunch of folks I’ve known thru different phases of life for close to 10 years. It’s immaculate.

Pride shines a light on how far I’ve come. Every year I feel a hell of a lot closer to the essence of who I am meant to be. I’m immensely proud of that. Happy damn pride💛 here’s a photo of my aura after finishing sessions in true Capricorn fashion ❤️

We’re taking the aura cameras all over Atlanta this October! From magical little shops and creative spaces to a midnight book release party, we’ve got a whole lot of colorful plans.
