A demo doesn’t have to be perfectly polished to make an impression. But before you submit, ask yourself:

• Is this my strongest record?
• Does it grab attention quickly?
• Is the vision clear?
• Does it sound like me?
• Did I check every detail?

Your demo is often your first impression. Make sure the music—and the way you present it—gives people a reason to keep listening, even if it’s not perfect.
