The face says fashion. The energy says fearless.
You can’t teach this kind of presence.

It’s felt.✨

TO BE TRANSPARENT SIS, in my opinion (and my photographers) this dress was giving CHILDISH 🤣 .
Before shooting this dress, I knew the poses could EASILY break or make it.

But I went with my gut/creative juices & knew I wanted to give classy with a DAB OR 2 of unexpected SEXINESS ☺️ —

I don’t know yallll, did I body? #model #modelcoach #posecoach #batonrougemodels

✨ With a heart full of gratitude… ✨
I am honored to have served as Ms. Black Southern States International Ambassador 2025 – 1st Runner-Up. This journey has been nothing short of transformational, and I’m so thankful for every step.

To my family, friends, and amazing sponsors — thank you for believing in me, praying for me, and investing in this dream. Your support made all the difference, and I carried each of you with me on that stage.

This moment was for every underserved girl with a voice, a dream, and a light to shine. 💫
The best is still yet to come.

With love,
Whitney R. Thomas

This season of my life is about becoming the woman I always said I wanted to be.

Entering the pageant world for the first time wasn’t just about gowns, crowns, or titles. It was about healing, pushing past fear, and doing something for me—something I once talked myself out of because life was… life-ing.

In 2023, I wanted to do this so badly—but I was homeless and in a relationship that drained me. I didn’t see a way to make it happen. It wasn’t my season yet.

But in 2025? I caught the MBIA post on social media, felt a tug in my spirit, and said: “God, if this is for me, You’ll make it clear.”
I signed up. Paid for everything myself. Showed up for myself. Trusted God every single step. And He showed out 🙌🏽

✨ I became Ms. Black Southern States International Ambassador 2025
✨ I was sick during competition week—but STILL showed up & gave it my all
✨ I helped spotlight people in my community who deserved their flowers
✨ I gained 5 sponsors, was featured on the news twice, and took on a leadership role as a YPO Ambassador
✨ I felt supported by family, friends, followers, and strangers who reminded me I wasn’t walking alone

No, I didn’t walk away with the crown (this time 😉), but I walked away with confidence, purpose, connections, and a reminder that I am her. 💐

This journey wasn’t easy… whew, the behind-the-scenes would shock you. But I’m proud of the woman who didn’t fold under pressure. She rose.

Until next time pageant world—I’m coming back. Better. Bolder. And in a new division.

👑 Forever your Queen,
Ms. Black Southern States International Ambassador 2025

What began as a personal challenge became a transformative journey—one that awakened strength I didn’t know I had, connected me with a sisterhood I didn’t know I needed, and reaffirmed my purpose to uplift every underserved youth still fighting to be seen.

Over the course of time, I’ve been preparing for something I had never done before—stepping into the world of pageantry as Ms. Black Southern States International Ambassador 2025. From the very beginning, I faced trials that tested me mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Life didn’t pause for my dreams—if anything, it challenged them. But in every obstacle, I discovered new layers of resilience.

This journey wasn’t just about the crown. It became a sacred space for growth, healing, and elevation. I’ve gained skills I will carry with me forever. I’ve met extraordinary women who not only inspired me, but saw me—who poured into me, loved me through my doubts, and reminded me of my light when it flickered.

My platform has always been rooted in purpose: to empower underserved youth to lead, speak, and shine. Because I know what it means to fight for survival and stability while still trying to believe in something greater. I advocate for them because I am one of them.

As this chapter closes, I leave not as someone who simply wore a title, but as someone transformed. Your Ms. Black Southern States 2025 is stepping into her next season—stronger, fuller, and more grounded than ever.

I’ll see you all on the other side.

Just wrapped my pitch presentation for the @mbiapageant as Ms. Black Southern States International Ambassador 💫 As an underserved youth, survival often overshadowed success. But today, I broke through that comfort zone — advocating not only for every overlooked child, but for the girl in me who once needed someone to speak up too. This moment was more than a pitch... it was a personal breakthrough. ✨
