LPF London Members’ Breakfast | The Oriental Club

A lovely morning at The Oriental Club for our latest London Members’ Breakfast, bringing together members from across property, design, private client and advisory.

With a history spanning over 200 years, the Club’s home at Stratford House was a wonderful setting to catch up with familiar faces, welcome new members and hear what everyone has been working on.

These gatherings give members time to get to know each other properly, understand one another’s businesses and find ways to work together.

Thank you to the team at @orientalclub for looking after us so well, and to everyone who joined us.

We teamed up with @prestige_bath to bring 20 industry professionals together for good food, conversation and even better connections.

It was lovely to spend the morning with people who share a passion for interiors and design, exchange ideas and learn more about the work happening across our industry. Opportunities to connect like this are so valuable and we’re grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a special morning.

Here’s to more conversations, collaborations and connections to come.

Step inside some of my absolute favourite showrooms at Focus/26 at Chelsea Harbour last week! Obsessed with all the tactile textures—Rich claret and warm gold tones are officially back. Warm metallics are stealing the show for finishes. Major interior inspiration around every single corner. 135+ showrooms later and my design wishlist is officially too long. Eye candy everywhere you look.
That's a wrap on Focus/26! Until next year. 👋

LPF London Twilight Soirée | London Square

This week The LPF brought together more than 80 companies at @londonsquaredevelopments for an evening of conversation, perspective and connection in the heart of Mayfair.

Every company in the room works with UHNW individuals across luxury property, development and private client services, creating a genuinely cross-sector mix of expertise and experience.

Guests explored the London Square Marketing Suite at Bruton Place, opened this summer as a central home for the developer’s portfolio across the capital. Westminster Tower, its Albert Embankment address opposite the Palace of Westminster, was on show alongside London Square’s wider approach to design and placemaking.

These evenings are a core part of what The LPF is about: bringing together the different disciplines serving the same clients and creating the space for meaningful conversations, introductions and future collaboration.

Our thanks to the team at London Square for hosting us so generously, and to our members for continuing to shape the calibre and culture of The Luxury Property Forum.

To be part of our global community and join future gatherings, we invite you to apply for membership via our website.

STONE LOVE

We fell in love with this Macaubas Fantasy quartzite for the master ensuite on the mum and dad floor. After a few initial marble choices fell through due to inconsistencies in the slabs, this came along and felt just right — with its fluid, dramatic veining creating some beautiful book-matched corners, while the calm lilac-grey tones create the most serene space.

We also loved its almost leathery appearance, which gives the honed surface an added sense of texture and depth.

The search for the right stone definitely takes a few turns!

We contrasted the stone with mixed brass and bronze metal trims throughout, adding a little warmth and layering to the scheme.

@jmadvisoryservicesltd Privé brought together an exceptional group of new and longstanding business colleagues yesterday evening with @lalique, kindly sponsored by @prestige_bath.

The evening invited guests to hear from jewellery designer, René Lalique about his incredible stories of working on designs with @cartier and @boucheron and how he transformed glassmaking and decorative design. René’s collaboration with perfumer François Coty changed how perfume was presented, bringing beautifully designed bottles to a much wider audience. Lalique’s creative world extends into interiors, where crystal continues to shape remarkable spaces.

This is what a week in interior design actually looks like.
.
No two weeks in this job look the same. This one was a particularly good one.
.
It started at a Design Week breakfast surrounded by the most beautiful new rug collections - the best possible way to begin a Monday. From there, cocktails with friends exploring new lighting, furniture and fabric launches. The kind of evening that fills a notebook and a head full of ideas in equal measure.
.
Mid-week, a visit to a project in Holland Park to see our newly upholstered chairs - because some things need to be seen in person before they go anywhere near a client's home.
.
Then onto Wentworth for a day of networking on the golf course. Surrounded by extraordinary homes and genuinely good company. I am calling it research.
.
Summer soiree celebrating industry friends.
.
A site meeting to check progress on a bathroom strip-out - the space cleared back to its bones, ready for the new stone and fittings that will transform it completely.
.
And then the week ended in the most spectacular fashion at the HQR Ball at Grosvenor House @hqrlondon - connecting with friends and colleagues from across the high quality residential sector in one of London's most beautiful rooms.
.
After 25 years in this industry, weeks like this remind me how fortunate I am. The creativity, the community, the variety - no two days the same and every single one of them interesting.
I genuinely love what I do.
.
If you are thinking about a project and would like to work with someone who brings this much passion to every detail, link in bio.
