You can never have too many vases and vessels…right?🤎

They really are one of my favourite ways to add shape, texture and character to a space without adding lots of clutter.

Here are 9 finds I’m loving at the moment, all under R1,500!

Postcards from the edge and a chance to finally share my holiday happy snaps from our last trip.

It feels as if the work hasn’t slowed down for a moment this year and I’ve been struggling with the resulting creative burnout that comes with having no time to play and daydream.
On the upside, I can now afford to buy a lot more tinned fish!

We get asked this A LOT…

Where do you get all your stock from?

Well, here’s your answer ..

There’s no single place.

We’re constantly discovering new brands, makers and pieces we feel would fit in our collections and that’s a big part of what makes owning a gift shop fun!

My aim with my store is to create a platform for local makers to showcase their products and to bring them closer to you as customer.

To support local is a privilege 🇿🇦

Also in Old Nick Village, you’ll find Prêt-à-Pot: a beautiful collection of handmade ceramics.

Prêt-à-Pot has been creating ceramics in South-Africa since 1985. Today the pieces are designed and handcrafted at their factory in Gqeberha, while this shop in Plettenberg Bay is their flagship store.

I loved discovering the collection here, there is so much to see both inside and in the garden. Hope to visit the factory one time 💛
