Today, one of my greatest prayers became reality. 💛

My childhood dream has officially been fulfilled — my name is now Dr. Elisheba Odei, MD. 👩🏾‍⚕️

Years ago, I walked away from a career in education and left behind the safety and stability I had built to pursue a dream that felt impossible at times. There were moments I almost convinced myself that maybe I could live a meaningful life without becoming a physician. But deep down, the desire never left my heart.

And I thank God that I didn’t give up on myself.

This journey stretched me, humbled me, broke me, rebuilt me, and strengthened my faith in ways I cannot fully explain. From preschool to medical school graduation has been nearly 20 years of education, sacrifice, tears, growth, and grace.

Today is a reminder: do not talk yourself out of the dreams God planted within you. If He placed it in your heart, He is faithful enough to carry you through it.

Jehovah Jireh, Your daughter is grateful. 🤍

Now… onto residency. I am ready to learn, serve, and train with everything I have.
