Hey village, today I’m feeling stuck, and I need my village. What affirmation reminds you that you’re capable? Drop it below.

When I struggle to believe in myself, one tool in my toolbox is leaning on my village to water me. Today, I’m reaching for that tool—and another sister may need your words, too.

There have been trials and hardships that sat me all the way down. Every day still isn’t easy. But how I choose to process while I’m sitting down helps me get back up and execute.

That’s step two of The Process: Belief in Yourself. Believing that your skills, assets, and talents are enough to begin executing the gift, purpose, vision, and mission God placed in front of you.

My wounds and scars still have a story. I’m learning to receive the lessons God has for me in those moments and apply them to how I move forward, show up for myself, and pour into myself.

Because I need watering, too. I deserve care. And when I pour into myself, the people I love and serve can receive my overflow.

That understanding helped shape our services for women and youth through Sisters With An Agenda. We need space to process our own experiences as we nurture our children and serve our communities.

Today, this sister with an agenda needs her village.

Leave your affirmation below. If another sister’s words speak to you, let her know. Let’s water each other this Motivational Monday.

Grateful to have celebrated Mayor Cherelle L. Parker and shared space with the incredible women of the Mayor’s Office of Women Engagement.

There is something powerful that happens when women come together not simply to occupy a room, but to work together.

Yesterday was one of those days that reminded me just how important community really is. 💛

I had the opportunity to serve as a co-host for the One Philly Wonder Women Tour with the Mayor’s Office of Women’s Engagement, and seeing all of these women together meant so much to me.

Thank you, Keiwana, for your leadership and for creating spaces that bring women from different parts of Philadelphia together to connect, support one another, learn about each other’s work, and build real relationships.

And THANK YOU to everyone who showed up — for me and for all of the amazing women who co-hosted yesterday. Seeing people from different parts of my journey standing together in one place was such a beautiful feeling.

The more my work grows, the more I realize that you really cannot build anything meaningful by yourself. Whether it’s Natural Body Essentials, Grow & Glow Philly, working with youth, beekeeping, wellness, entrepreneurship, or leadership, so many people have poured into me, connected me, encouraged me, opened doors, and simply SHOWED UP.

And I don’t take that lightly.

Women supporting women.
Community supporting community.
Everybody having room to shine.

That’s what yesterday felt like. 💛

Thank you to the Mayor’s Office of Women’s Engagement, Keiwana, my fellow co-hosts, and every woman who joined us yesterday.

Philadelphia has some incredible women doing incredible work — and I’m grateful to be in the room. 🐝✨

This month’s Caregiver-Child Interaction Experience was all about learning, connecting, and creating together. 🎂💚💙
Families joined us for a hands-on Cake Decorating Class with @pretty.scrumptious, where caregivers and children spent intentional time together while learning a new skill that could spark creativity, confidence, entrepreneurship, and future opportunities.

At Linked Family Services, we believe prevention happens in everyday moments—when families have the opportunity to build stronger relationships, develop new skills, and create positive memories together.
