POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Over the last month I’ve gotten to see a bunch of live events and various performances around town. And while I may sketch quickly, I am apparently pretty slow when it comes to actually posting them on social media. There is something so special about capturing the magical moments of a show with a live sketch.

Most of these sketches were gifted to the performers after their shows. My way of saying thank you to them for entertaining me and sharing their talents on stage. I love my funny little hobby. ✍️

1. @p.sparklelive 10 year anniversary show
2. @emilyfontano “Against her wishes”
3. @chasethatpadgett “how to play guitar poorly”
4-6. Erika MacDonald “Tea Time” for Outfest
7. “Hot Mess”
8–10. @tushvstymisha “Q the Legends”
11-12. @leecohencomedy_official comedy show
13. @looselipsorlando September show @lil_indies
14. The winter park ukelele society
15. Immerse Artist Launch

Tonight was a whole vibe at @alexsundergroundcomedy !

Had a great time sharing the stage with some hilarious comics and some genuinely good people. Tonight was all about funny true stories — the kind of stories that make you laugh because you know somebody who actually lived through some crazy shit. I got to tell the story about my homeboy getting jumped over his Sisqó chain… because apparently back in the day, that Dragon was worth fighting for!Great crowd, great comics, great energy, and a whole lot of laughs. Definitely one of those nights where you leave the stage feeling good.

Alex’s Underground Comedy Club — appreciate y’all!

This weekend @twelvetalons closed their doors. I want to give my utmost gratitude to this place for letting me use it to put together whatever random experimental show I wanted to fill the space with in any given month.

I will always look back at shooting the wind at the bar after packing the show up for the night.

Here are a couple photos from the unhinged comedy nights at Twelve Talons to feel nostalgic over. (Technically the last one was me running into @alina.comedy to have one last drink but 2 comics make a comedy night right?)
