On this day 7 years ago we gathered at the house. The block was full of people we knew and didn’t know.

All I can remember is that hard knock and that long ride from school, and how our lives changed forever. 7 seconds, 7 minutes, 7 days, 7 months, 7 years, it still feels the same! This gap in our hearts can’t be filled, but we will forever keep your name and memory alive no matter what it takes!

Yesterday the block was filled again but with love, laughs, and dancing! And that is what will always keep our hearts warm, because everyone remembers no matter how long! Heaven feels far, but you always make a way to show us you’re close!

Pretty Akeira we love and miss you always and forever baby girl!!! Forever throwing up the “A”! Akeira’ Day 2026 💞💞💞💞🩷🤍💛🩷🤍💛🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔

I never thought I would be the police. Dej’? No way! I always knew my mission was to help people but policing was never a thought…

Until I experienced the WORST day of my life. From that moment I prayed and God led me here. I want to be there to help people on their worst days. To make them feel protected. To let them know that I care for their safety from those who harmed or try to harm them.

For 16 weeks I woke up at 4:30am, drove 50 minutes one way and an hour and 15 the other way. I went through the most challenging experience: mentally, physically, and emotionally. From the taser to the running in clarino shoes through the college halls and stairwells. If I’m being honest it was periods where I said I don’t think I can make it, BUT God! I remembered my WHY. I remembered that I went through worst days than the moment I was in. I remembered how excited my daughter was to run to school and say her mommy was in the police academy. I spent countless hours of studying and improving my fitness. Blood, sweat, and real tears came from this. EARNED and NOT Given is the truth. I can’t wait to see what this chapter holds and I am so thankful for resilience and an amazing support system. I’ve held so many titles and I’m not done yet, but for now call me Police Officer, a Sheriff! 😉 Let’s do this!!! God, I pray for you to cover me and bring me home safely everyday!👮🏾🥳🥰🙏🏾😭🫶🏽🥹💞🦋🤎💙
